Like UTRacerX9 said, it matters to some of us. 3si has been the main forum for many of us for a long time, and to see it ruined/tarnished by a stupid owner, and now being moderated by a bunch of immature, power-hungry, idiots? Yeah, it's disappointing.

You don't know our business practices. You saw one thread, with one unhappy customer, that was allowed to turn into a circus of uninvolved people. Then, when our customers, who are unhappy with the way we are being (wrongly) portrayed, speak up on our behalf... the content is removed. How, may I ask, does that allow us to FAIRLY clear the air regarding our business?

As it stands right now, only people who are unhappy with us are allowed to speak up (which, there has only been ONE legitimate complaint regarding a transaction with us, that took place YEARS AGO, and not a SINGLE RECENT TRANSACTION has received even the slightest complaint). New rules are implemented (unfairly and with extreme bias) in order to silence the positive feedback we are now receiving,.. and for NO OTHER REASON other than to remove the content that paints us in a favorable light.

Moderators and administrators are allowed to make baseless accusations against us, post up false, and defamatory information, and poke fun at our resolution and current situation, yet we are not allowed to confront them about this, or have the false information censored and removed. We are being accused (by the administrative staff) of having other outstanding (and recent) bad dealings, yet NO ONE will give us any information on who these people are, or what the situation is so we can let our side be heard, and verify that there even IS an issue? Rumors of fraud investigations are allowed to circulate, which are 100% FALSE.

I am ALL for an open and civil discussion with the parties directly involved, because all I've been after, for the last FIVE YEARS, is to clear the air regarding GZP's history. And no one has allowed us to do that. I have been asking for FIVE YEARS, for a resolution center. I have been asking for FIVE YEARS to be allowed to pay anyone that is owed from GZP back. I have been asking for FIVE YEARS to be allowed to clear up whatever mess GZP made BEFORE I WAS EVEN AROUND. I have been repeatedly LIED TO, ignored, and flat out denied the opportunity to make right on whatever wrongs occurred.

So, by all means, please tell me how fair this administrative staff over at 3si is, and how unbiased they are in this situation. I have been told to bite my tongue, as "it would be in my best interest to keep quiet". I bit my tongue, and now it's biting me in the ass. I want this RESOLVED, not brushed under the rug for another 5 years while our business is defamed by people who have never dealt with us, based on pure LIES and misinformation.

This is Hans and my BUSINESS and LIVELIHOOD. It is in EVERYONES best interest to allow us to resolve any outstanding issues, and allow those who have had a positive experience with us speak about it. We are not the devils you all make us out to be. You are doing those customers who are owed anything a disservice by not allowing us to resolve whatever issues there may be (which, I've yet to see the onslaught of wronged customers everyone expected to see come running out of the woodwork).

Why are people not allowed to speak on our behalf about their good experiences? There are TWO SIDES to every situation... and we're not allowed to have our side heard.

We try very hard to do good by everyone, we aren't perfect, by a long shot, but we do the best we can. And most of the time, the ones you go out of your way the most to help, are the ones that stab you in the back the hardest. But we love what we do (sometimes, I really don't know why), and we will CONTINUE to go out of our way to help people. Because we know what it's like to be on the shit end of the stick, and have someone really help you out when you need it the most.

THAT is how we try to run our business, whether you care to open your eyes to see that... is on you. We are a relatively small shop, with very loyal customers. If we were as bad as people are making us out to be, we would have been driven into the ground, and out of business YEARS ago.

If it were me, I'd pay the guy for what he was owed and then some just to put it to bed. For the record, I think I only bought one minor thing from GZP and that was probably 7-8 years ago, I didn't have a problem.

But I can't count how many times we've heard the story that there's only ONE issue remaining. If that's the case, stop talking about it and take care of it, and maybe that person will post up about it in a positive light.

These. While issues need resolving, a PROFESSIONAL and ADULT manner should be used to do so. I have seen so much immaturity and lack of professionalism lately it makes me shake my head. Nothing gets resolved the way things have been handled, IMO (a professional opinion at that).

We are resolving it. The guy doesn't want money, just the car completed. So, that's what we're doing. We appreciate your feedback and ideas, but we have a schedule here to keep and that's what we're trying to do.

I am not going to talk about any other mods but myself (they can explain themselves/actions), I cannot control what they do. I can express my opinion but that is it. I chose the classified because I wanted some rules to change. I didn't realize at the time I was going to inherit the GZP thing.

Let me make a few things clear, there is a GZP resolution center for people that have LEGITIMATE unresolved issues. According to what GZP has agreed to, they will rectify all unsolved issues regardless how old they are. Well, only one person has come forward. We can't go through 10 years of archives to find all the people that may have been wronged. There is a time frame on this resolution center, and if nobody else comes forward in this time frame allotted, then we have to (hate to this word) assume that all past issues have been resolved. So really it is up to the wronged GZP customers to come forward and speak about their situation. So, if you know anybody that is waiting on a resolution with GZP tell them to come forward please.

If you think that these experiences haven't changed me from the insulting, arrogant and abusive troll of two years ago you couldn't be more wrong.

If you have a concern about how I'm handling something, or how you think I'm handling something, feel free to PM. I can not stress enough how much I care about 3si. Hell, I'm on my first vacation in 2 years right now and I'm still on here trying to deal with issues.

Hans used to be very bad at the business end, he was 19 years old when he started GZP and living in his parents' house trying to run a business. He didn't have a CLUE what he was doing, and he's the first to admit it. LOL

That is where I come in. I now handle most of the business side and sales, and he manages the shop and the going-on's/employees, as well as doing the mechanics. It was just too much for one person to manage... working on cars, paying bills, keeping up with customers, making sure sales and parts were shipped, managing employees, giving estimates, etc, etc.

I am only going to address this (highlighted in red), because everything else was done/handled by other moderators.

I have already made a thread apologizing about the mistake on "new feedback rule", but I have corrected what I was trying to say. And my correction wouldn't just affect GZP, that is for sure. The Short Verison: If I see any "positive reviews" come up about ANY suspended/banned/revoked seller/sponsor/vendor status I will delete them. Now if GZP is allowed to sell/sponsor/vendor, they can have their positive reviews. I hold no grudges or bias opinions. And just because there are going to be new rules doesn't mean go back through 10+ years of threads to accommodate the new rules.

Two years ago I was the guy running TANP, the single biggest plague to Alan and all the other mods on 3si. Eventually, we were somewhat disbanded. We were brought into the fold of 3si and given some minor perks for constantly scanning 3si. It was also a way to control all of us who still frequented the website. Over time, all of us grew up. I got married, had a child and have since been deployed to Afghanistan twice and while there saw and experienced things that still give me nightmares. If you think that these experiences haven't changed me from the insulting, arrogant and abusive troll of two years ago you couldn't be more wrong.

If you have a concern about how I'm handling something, or how you think I'm handling something, feel free to PM. I can not stress enough how much I care about 3si. Hell, I'm on my first vacation in 2 years right now and I'm still on here trying to deal with issues.

I know for a fact it will not make any difference at all. Back when Vertical Scope aka Auto Fourms purchased the site I did my research and found a number of sites that went through the same thing. Nothing changed except for a mass exdous by senior members that were on most replaced by newer members. It's a business making a ton of money of selling advertising on the sites plain and simple.

that post you put up was not the reason why the thread got locked. I answered that post via PM to the blue dude. The thread got locked because imperfectdarkness was only using it to bitch at the owners and wasn't trying to make suggestions. Nadeem originally told me to leave the thread open a few days and then close it. I left it open for a week, until the drama queens came out in force since there was no where else to attack the mods, admins or owners at, and tried to derail the suggestions for improvement thread. A thread in which we had acted on some very valid ideas and implemented a few, and have others that we are working on. (we should have a mobile phone app in a few weeks/months)

When imperfect, alias, mean green and UT gang up together to do no good, there is nothing that can be said or done to correct the situation. Nothing i say will change it, nothing the admins say will change and nothing the site owners do will make a difference to those few. If they cannot fix the site to their satisfaction they should leave and go where their input is valued. None of the mods here value their input. Some ARE more tolerant than i am though. But they haven't been dealing with this crap for 7 friggin years. Therefore the thread got closed, I got to make my first suspension for more than 2 days EVER, and imperfect was dealt with the next morning by the admins. Mean green is one post away from following them off. I refused to ban or suspend UT, or imperfect because i had a conflict of interest with them from past issues, i have left the admins to deal with them. When UT's time out ends, he's one mouth off away from a global ignore or a ban. Same with imperfect.

As you can tell, i am not afraid of discussing things with people in that thread, i've explained our position several times, and their argument hasn't changed, therefore we are ending their argument for them. They are welcome to go to Alan if they need to, because David puts my assistance higher than imperfects arguments/roadblocks. I have made 1, thats right 1 suspension on 3si since returning, and that was last night. Everyone else i wasn't the one doing the punishing. I've reported several posts to the admins, some they've ignored, some they've taken action.

AF seems to want to "jedi mind trick" everyone into believing that there is no problem. there is no 800lbs gorilla in the living room. there is no such thing as "unhappy" members. i'm not a huge fan of being treated like a 7 year old watching bananas in pajamas. while alan and other mods have levied "time-outs" against me, infrequently, for sometimes the most banal of reasons--AF's tact on this matter makes alan look like mother teresa.

frankly, jeff, regardless of whatever sentimentality you seem to be yielding to, 3si isn't the great place it used to be. i have a great amount of respect for you (and to a somewhat lesser extent, chargerx3)--but the both of you agreeing to moderate on it is like pouring salt in an open wound. you may "feel" that 3si can be restored to former glory and regain honor in the eyes of platform owners; but the simple truth is that you are complicit in AF's actions vis a vis your participation. by agreeing to do what you have agreed to, you are de facto sanctioning AF's actions. worse, you lower yourself to the level of LW.

as a fellow servicemember, i haven't forgotten what it is that i have pledged my life to. i am fully cognizant of the oath i've taken to trade my life--if necessary--for the preservation of the constitution and ALL of its amendments. if i didn't believe in personal freedoms--and instead subscribed to a doctrine of censorship--i would move to china or join al qaeda. as a 7 year member of 3si, i watched the forum go from being reluctantly tolerant of my "testing the limits of acceptability" to one in which autocratic rule and capitalistic greed have destroyed the soul of the online community. naturally, i am vocal about that change. naturally, the new junta at 3si has relegated long-term members to denizen status at best. newbie minions are treated with more respect--as they have not yet become jaded enough to refuse to suckle from the teet of bitter misinformation.

The actions of one person (two if you count Nadeem, but he is paid to protect an investment so he has an excuse) over there make me very sad. Some people make good mods, some people don't. From what I've seen so far, I think you and dbest will be the former. As for the "super moderator", I have seen the temperament of LW in the chatter section. Before he stepped down as classified's mod due to time constraints, it got to the point where I would purposely set him off just to laugh at his ridiculous responses. Adding ultimate power to that attitude is a recipe for disaster.

In all honestly I know the site would be much better off in your hands. You care enough to hear the voices of the people that made the site. The forum is nothing without the people. Yea, I started a thread asking why it was closed. It seemed like Blue91sl's comment had something to do with it. My thread vanished overnight and I got this PM from LW earlier;

that post you put up was not the reason why the thread got locked. I answered that post via PM to the blue dude. The thread got locked because imperfectdarkness was only using it to bitch at the owners and wasn't trying to make suggestions. Nadeem originally told me to leave the thread open a few days and then close it. I left it open for a week, until the drama queens came out in force since there was no where else to attack the mods, admins or owners at, and tried to derail the suggestions for improvement thread. A thread in which we had acted on some very valid ideas and implemented a few, and have others that we are working on. (we should have a mobile phone app in a few weeks/months)

When imperfect, alias, mean green and UT gang up together to do no good, there is nothing that can be said or done to correct the situation. Nothing i say will change it, nothing the admins say will change and nothing the site owners do will make a difference to those few. If they cannot fix the site to their satisfaction they should leave and go where their input is valued. None of the mods here value their input. Some ARE more tolerant than i am though. But they haven't been dealing with this crap for 7 friggin years. Therefore the thread got closed, I got to make my first suspension for more than 2 days EVER, and imperfect was dealt with the next morning by the admins. Mean green is one post away from following them off. I refused to ban or suspend UT, or imperfect because i had a conflict of interest with them from past issues, i have left the admins to deal with them. When UT's time out ends, he's one mouth off away from a global ignore or a ban. Same with imperfect.

As you can tell, i am not afraid of discussing things with people in that thread, i've explained our position several times, and their argument hasn't changed, therefore we are ending their argument for them.
