How many of you actually join contests?

Like the title says. Be it a car contest, food contest, art contest, etc. Now Im not talking about something among peers, but an actual you-submit and you/whatever "it" you submitted gets judged, ranked and awarded a prize.

I personally join photo contests as often as I can. I've gotten consolation prizes, won a few and came in 2nd, 3rd, etc in some. a lot Ive entered and didnt win jack. but I still keep on entering.

I thought about joining a food eating contest but I max out pretty easily. :D

I've done a few car shows in the past. My main contender was an 88 mazda B2200 lowrider. This was back before air bags became so popular. Took some first place trophies at local shows. My best was 2nd place at Slammin n Jammin. I guess thats what happens when your DD goes up against a trailor queen.
