My plug keeps wanting to start a fire. So I need 6 inches of wire plus the connector to the speedo for a 93 tt. Thanks!

If the plug is "wanting to start a fire" then your speed sensor is shorted and you will need to replace that.

I have 2 sensors, but plug is toast. Going to try my other sensor tomorrow. If someone has one or both, I am interested.

Come on, somebody has to have a hacked up wiring harness I can pilfer a plug from....

FYI, the TPS plug in is identical to the speed sensor plug in.

Thanks stealthee I didn't know that one. Guess I need just the sensor then.
