oooh, competition!

seriously, LOTS of work has gone into these cars. tipping factor for me was saving one from the crusher. major kudos for the effort in bringing that back to life.

I'm partial to pearl white, especially in '99 flavor (I don't care if it's a real '99 or not) and I prefer Johnny's parts list to the others. I love the way the FMIC piping looks in the bumper along with the vented hood and wheels... And Von worked on it. All good things. The only thing that confuses me is the gauges on the passenger side a pillar! haha

Left pilar= Boost in Bar & AEM wideband gauge controller
Center= Oil Pressure - Water Temp in °C - Oil Temp in °C
Right Pilar= Exhaust Gas Temp in °C & Fuel Pressure

At night it looks like an airplane cockpit:biggrin:

All the dipping is creative. I also like that half the manifold is dipped, shows he had better things to spend money on than half the part no-one would ever see. It was tough, and I hope Johny Turbo gets another chance. An all white engine bay is a brave venture, then again, so is a Dr.Pepper car. The penguins were the icebreaker for me. Well done.

But, in the interest of splitting hairs, my firewall is stripped of items, cleaned, filled and painted as well as no brake lines showing on the passenger side, so my engine bay does show more uninterrupted white than Joe. If we were talking polished bling, which we're not, Joe has a few more pieces than me.

I just did a R&R on my radiator because one of the fan blades lost a c-clip and spun off and the water spots I have all over the aluminum are nasty. I tried a quick wipe and polish job and all I have to show for it is shiny aluminum with shiny water spots. If anyone knows of a product that removes that shit, let me know as Mother's aluminum polish did not do the trick.
