I plan on putting my motor and tranny in this week sometime. The only things I still need are the bolts for tranny to engine, and to do the CAS swap.

I haven't done a lot of searching on this first part because I'm not quite sure how to word it to actually get results. I need to get the thread pattern specs. for the bolts that hold the tranny to the engine. The motor is a '94 DOHC N/A. I looked through a few of the service manuals on 3SX and can't find where it would be, so if anyone can tell me, I'd appreciate it.

Second, I'm putting the motor in a '92 frame so I need to relocate the CAS to the throttle blade side of the plenum on the rear head. Although I can't see how the sensor can bolt onto anything in that area, or how it even fits in place. Does anybody have a picture of exactly what holds it in place? When I put it under the valve cover it sticks out a good bit, so obviously I'm missing something.

Thanks guys.

Rob if you want to stop down one night we can go thru my bucket o bolts to see if we can find what you need for the trans bolts.

As for the CAS there should have been a bracket.

Use the crank/cam sensors on the '94 block and splice those into the '92 CAS harness. Stealth316.com has a complete write up on how to do it. And as for the CAS mounting, the head was not designed to use it so the mounting points are not there. Same way the '91-'92 heads do not have the mounting points for a cam sensor.

There is no splicing necessary. The 94 block is going into a 92 body.

The 91-92 CAS will work on any 91-99 DOHC 6G72.

That sucks, I junked the two engines I had in the garage and they were both 92s
