Well dont have anything made yet a few different things on the drawing board for our platform but the shop I'm working at makes a few different things for the DSM, EVO and STI's plus other custom items for just about anything else that anyone would want

Awesome thread idea I need to buy another welder so I can get back to fabricating but here is a picture of a half cage I did in an E30.

Subscribed, hope this thread gets good. I'm a fab nerd but my situation prevents me from doing much right now.

92pearlTT any more pics of the E30? The first car I bought when I got to Italy was an E30 M3 in rough shape, It was enjoyable to drive but needed more than I could give it and couldn't be counted on as a daily (I only need one unreliable car at a time here).

McJohnnyP more pics also!

Sadly no when ever I build something I always forget to take pictures. I had to get those pictures from the owner of the car. After I get a new welder I am going to fab up a little table so I can make a motor mount jig for a 6g75 swaps.

I have a Miller Dynasty 200 TIG that works pretty sweet but right now I don't have the room or time to use it so hopefully that will change here before long. I want to make up some exhausts and manifolds.

I am jealous of your welder wish I could buy a dynasty.

I would be very interested in your rig for 75 swaps. I have my eye on a Holbert 187 Mig setup. Someday I hope to have a Dynasty tig.

Its actually a very simple design, I may sell the mounts after I get it all setup but we will see about that.

They're definitely well worth it. I only have an SD model since I didn't need the extra features of the DX model, but it's still a very nice setup. I was going back and forth between an Eastwood TIG, Miller Syncrowave, and Miller Diversion but finally decided I needed to break down and get a quality welder the first time around. I ended up using my tax return to fund a big chunk of it and I haven't looked back. There's so much you can do with it and quite a bit to learn.

I am gonna check out the eastwood tig. I don't really use all the fancy controls when welding so I don't need something thats all that expensive right now. Although I have heard nothing but good things about the dynasty welders.

I don't use all the features either but I'm a big fan of the old saying that you get what you pay for so most of the time I'm willing to spend more than I need to in order to get quality. I just have to wait longer to get it. :) One of the problems preventing me from trying out the Eastwood was that the frequency was locked in at 60Hz whereas the Dynasty is adjustable. You can still make good welds, but the adjustable frequency will make better welds and you can do it easier especially on thinner materials if you know how to use the settings right.

O trust me I don't really cheap out on anything either, its just a matter of me getting impatient cause i want a welder so bad haha. I may just wait till tax returns and use some of that on a dynasty. I have so much shit to build I just hate waiting. O well its been down for like 5 years whats another 6 months haha.

The Dynasty is a nice welder! We looked at it but we ended up going with the Syncrowave 200 as it does everything we need it to do for our fabrication needs.

Prolly the coolest fab job I've ever worked on. Built two 60' planter beds out of 316 stainless on the Millenium Bridge in Denver. The bridge connects the Pepsi Center to Union Station. 400,000 people pass it every week and stop and take pictures. Don't know how it looks today but I'm going down there to take a walk with the customer. I'll snap a pic today when I'm down there.

I see why you posted the rear...the front looks incomplete. Something not quite right about putting chicken wire in the grill of what looks like an Aston Martin copy:(

Rear looks menacing and so does the exhaust;)

It's different, the more I looked at it the more it grew on me. What engine does it have? I didn't see one pic of it, it would be my 1st question if I was there.

Is there a build thread? I didn't see it.

I don't have pics. Butt I'm slowly building my welding skills... looking at purchasing a better welder soon. I just have a cheapo mig right bow. Gets the job done. I do mostly diffs and exhausts with it. On my own car I cut off the flange that came with my 3sx downpipe and added a 3 inch flange so I could bolt up my 3 inch test pipe. I did the same on my factory cat back. Also removed stock resonator and replaced it with a 2.5inch pipe. Will be going full 3 inch soon. Me and a friend are making two single Turbo manifolds for the 3/s. One will be t3 flanges for my car and the other will be t6 flanged for my our friends r/t awd. Also making downpipes. Ill probably undergo my down pipe on my own. 3 inch vband and connects to factory exhaust setup.
