I'm working on the pictures from the pace lap and I want to get a group opinion on how they should be cropped if at all.
Their are 3 options
Tight

Middle

No Crop(their could be 2-3 cars in some shots)

I did not participate in NG so I have no photos, but from my non professional opinion I like the looks of the medium as it shows more of the grandstands while still focusing on the car.

Will these be high resolution? If so, I'd go for the uncropped and then do what ever cropping I'd like myself. If they aren't going to be high enough of a resolution to do that, I vote for the medium shot.

In a way I like the no crop because you want as much of the speedway in the picture as possible. I think medium or none, I guess it would be different for every car.

I do like more of the track to show. have plenty of car shots already. These shots are about where we were at that time and place, and not so much about the details of what we are driving.

None. I want to see the track and the fact that there's more 3S's on the track is cool too.

I agree with this. It's nice to have only one car in the picture, but show as much track as possible. And don't forget the yard of bricks.

Photoshopped medium with a crowd in the background. Looks kind of sad with an empty stand.

Definitely UNcropped. And make one of the sale offerings the digital file. Then the person can crop at will.

This suggestion has "WINNING" all over it!. You wouldn't have to do a thing to but send an E-mail with an attachment.

Tight as you can get and still see the brick finish line. If the bleachers were unique and showed it was IMS, then I would say include some more of them. The bricks show where the image was taken.

In a situation like that, the middle crop would be the best solution, because it's the less compromise to please the group. Like for example I voted tight, but I would prefer to have middle crop then none.
