first Official turbo 1.8L....

the 1.8L DSM community is kinda my roots so it means a little somethin to me to finally see proof of a running turbo 4g37 DSM.

bad video quality...but its there.

seems like its decently quick... about stock turbo DSM speed. home made kit. hybrid turbo...light tuning.

Im confused, is the 1.8L just the NA motor that came in them? My buddy has had a turbo NA 2nd gen for years. He blew it up after a year or so, then rebuilt it with forged parts.

The 1.8l came in the first gen only. N/a 4g37 sohc. 92hp factory. 2nd gens have a 2.0l chrysler motor

1.8 was the base model engine. 1g DSM's came with the 1.8 4G37, 2.0 4G63 NA, and 2.0 4G63T

Just cause. Now,that im older I wouldnt do it trying to be fast reason. If I were to do it id do it more just for the hell of it.

Because they are so slow :p. We almost turboed my buddies 92 Eclipse but then he sold it hah.

I mean... I've turbo'd a non-turbo 2.0 before, but a 1.8? Nothing bolts on.

Hell, I've even done a 2.4 swap and turbo'd it into a Eagle Summit wagon :p

You say you're older like you are in your 30's, you're not even in your 20's.

Im older as in relative to myself. I grew out of trying to be,fast with tiny engines and no hp
