Congratulations to Emilie@GZP & her
Orchid Pearl 1996 DODGE STEALTH R/T
Emilie@GZP's Garage Link (http://www.3sgto.org/garage.php?do=user_garage_view&id=11)

I got this car in the fall of 2008 with roughly 250,000 miles. It's 1 of 8 Orchid Pearl Stealth R/T's made, and the only one with black interior. It's 100% original, and as far as we know, the original engine and transmission to the car.

I've put nearly 40,000 miles on it since I got it. It's made numerous trips to North Carolina, Connecticut, and even made a trip to the National Gathering in 2010, in Indy.

There's really not much to say about it, it's definitely the most reliable car I own. Hopefully I'll hit 300,000 miles on it by the end of the year.

Since we got it, I've rebuilt the transmission, put in a clutch slave cylinder, and changed the oil (and flushed the coolant). I still haven't even done a timing belt service or new lifters (which it needs badly), or new wheel bearings (they have been bad for almost 2 years). So, I wouldn't say I've done much in the past few years haha.

This was the car that bled all over the place?

The former mob hit-car? :awesome:

Yes, this is the mob-hit victim

I was driving it the other day, and I'm fairly certain the wheel is about to fall off now

It's parked now, down for some maintenance and TLC that it desperately needs.

Take good care of that one, Em.

Hey, where does it fall in the '96 production run?

Which #?

Looks like it's got duals - is it one of those "deluxes" with duals, or is it a turbo?

Well, the 57 RT TTs are included in RT production, right?

Does that mean, out of the 115 produced, there were 57 RT TTs, and 58 RTs?

Your knowledge of these things far outstrips mine, but I am mighty curious.

All 96 R/T's came with dual exhaust.

I don't think the TT's were included in those numbers.

That number is for the R/T NA Models.

Okay - that's why I'm here and you're there, huh?

I'm remembering things from a discussion with Stealthee awhile back; don't think we were talking about '96s, though.

Thanks for the info, then - learn something new every day. :)

I'm picking up a 95 awd auto talon this week so we can put all of our 3/s's to rest for a bit and get them up on maintenance. It seems like they all need wheel bearings at this point LOL.
