It's really weird, the last two clutch's I've had for the car have had the pressure plate gradually go to the point where it slips even with plenty of material left on the clutch itself...decided to piss the old crap clutch and fit the carbon-carbon...but seriously, anyone having the same problems?

not sure why this one is failing, i wonder if its a similar issue

I'd be keen to hear if it is, the last 3 clutch's have had the issue from memory, will attempt to find a brand.

Also since you reminded me, this current clutch is a different brand than my last. Could be unrelated issues however

do these clutches include genuine OEM that are failing?

no, not Mitsubish branded, when I've asked the mitsu stock ones need a 2 month lead time.

the clutch's I've been using are Exedy (the parent company)

exedy clutches aint the best mate, can you get sachs or borg beck clutches over there? i think sachs are the ones closest to the original, and last a good while too.

Not seen anything from either of those brands :|

it's all good now :) will see how the rebuild with non explody plates RPS goes.
