Has anyone else been getting half a dozen email notifications for the same thread? it seems I get one for every post not just for the 1st one.

Just me???

Have you been coming back to read that thread often?

You should only get one email per thread update between visits. You can also set daily/weekly updates per thread, which will make it where you only get one email per day or week, regardless of how many times a thread is replied to.

It was operating normally until a few days ago. I'm aware of how it works and I have not changed any settings. Usually got one email only. Occasionally it would play up and I would get a 2nd email for some threads if I was logged onto the forum but had not yet read that post/thread. But lately I open my inbox and I have 70 emails with about 3/4 of them double ups.

I gotcha.

Not doing it on my end, only one email per thread between visits. Is it possible that you're logged in on any other computers that you might not be aware of?

it's happened to me too. occasionally i'll get updates for every singple post...even though i haven't visited the thread at all.

I think visiting the forum will reset the email status.

I have noticed that can happen [as stated above] but I'm getting multiple emails without visiting. Turned the computer off last night with no unread emails. Today I have about 40 emails from the forum and all relate to only 6 threads.

OK I think this has been resolved now. I have Tapatalk on my phone and my Android tablet. Both recently got updated. I also "signed out" of the forum then closed the app [instead of just closing it] on my phone and now it seems to have stopped. Not sure if it was that or the recent update.

Unrelated to original post but I haven't been getting notifications for the last couple of days. Last one was received on the 10th at 12:20 AM. Not an issue on Tapatalk because they are all listed and it automatically takes me to the first unread post. It doesn't do that on a PC if I open the thread via the subscribed threads page.

Anyone else having this issue?

I noticed yesterday that I wasn't getting any e-mail notifications for new PM's even though I have that option ticked in my settings.

its the mail server actually. sending out the note about the t-shirts has totally bogged it down. Looking into options to fix it.

I think I have the queue load balancing fixed. Hopefully this will not happen again.
