Getting a tattoo tonight... need some thoughts.

So it's both my girlfriends and my birthday this week (back to back) and she really wanted her first tattoo. I thought it would be cool if we got one together (I already have one). I thought it over and over in my mind of what I would get. I'm not really comfortable with drawing my own stuff, not that I'm bad at it, but I went and started looking online for an idea.

I thought to myself, I really like wolves. I would like to own one someday, probably a husky mix Hybrid, and so I decided to get a tattoo of a wolf. So after searching and searching and finding nothing that I liked, I found one yesterday and had that moment of "this is the one". I picture messaged it to my girlfriend at work, and she said it looks too redneck and doesn't really care for it... which disappointed me since I really liked the image.

Anyone care to comment on it/possibly add or recommend me something if you have any creative insight?

Well, I went ahead and did it... I didn't have him do exactly the picture I posted. More artistic. I'm happy with the outcome. The shading and color is perfect. Makes the eyes stand out really nicely.

It looks wider in person. The camera makes it look longer since the 980P makes images taller.
