You guys I hate my older brother. Ever since I bought my 3000GT hes always been talking crap about how slow it is and how he THINKS his 90 supra can beat me. But today he went out and bought a 1993 Dodge Stealth RT/TT FOR ONLY $700. The guy he bought it from thought it broke the timing chain but it only needs a fuel pump. Damn he got real lucky.

1g's can be had for dirt cheap. still, if he's so confident about his mkIII supra, wtf did he go out and buy a 3/s? that's like an admission that he's wrong.

Ah yes, competition between brothers. It never ends.

Timing chain? I was pretty sure these were interference engines, they use a timing belt. If that blows, you're screwed. then again he sold a tt for 700. I would be wary of future problems due to previous owner stupidity/neglect.

If the timing BELT broke, he's got bigger problems than a fuel pump. He'd better remove the heads and start inspecting the valves and pistons.

Sounds like a great buy. I'd consider changing that belt before it does break though. Just don’t let your brother screw up setting the timing then blame it on the car. :lo5l:

Yeah the guy he bought it from had it pawned for $700, so my brother only payed off the title pawn. The fuel pump was god so I checked his CAS and replaced both and it started right up and he now drives it daily. The cars only problem at the moment is a bent lower control arm on the driver side.
