View Full Version : Will these rims fit 53 offset?
STi BBS rims gold (http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/pts/2410274448.html)
If they will fit how flush will they be. I don't want them sticking out too much.
Thanks.
can't tell what width those are. they're pretty narrow though, if 225's are any indication. if they're 7.5" wide--it'll probably fit; but that is narrower than anything but the base stealth's stock 15" rims. and on an n/a like yours, brakes aren't the issue; it's the strut mounts/suspension. you can certainly get them to fit with a spacer; but without knowing full details--i can't say for certain.
if i were you, i'd keep searching. 53 offset isn't what i'd throw on my 3/s. the only things that will fit at that offset are far too narrow for my blood (at least for the fronts).

Fit what? Definitely won't fit a vr4, and I don't even know if they would make spacer big enough to get them to fit. He doesn't even give the size of the wheels. Judging by the size of the tires, they are probably 17x7.
sohc 3000gt. stock rims are 16x8 these are 17x8 according to what I found on ebay and these are half the price of the ones on ebay so there a steal imo.

The offset is way off though. Stock offset is 46. 53mm will make it sit 7 more millimeters INBOARD. There will likely be rubbing issues.
Keep looking.
99% certain that 8" wide won't fit with a 53mm offset--even on an n/a. like april said, they won't fit a tt--period. n/a's will find them about 1/2" too far inboard & will contact the stock strut perch in the front.
what i'd be looking at instead:

any of those will be ~stock width & offset; so a virtual guarantee of fit for n/a's.
