Fog Light Removal

I have a 97' 3000GT SL, and the glass on one of the fog lights shattered. I got new glass on ebay, but I can't get the damn screws to budge. I've tried everything, from lubrication to a torque driver, and its the same for both the left and the right. Anyone have any tips or ideas on how to get the thing off?

Impact screwdriver, or if you're like me, you'll break the head of the screw off. Luckily, when the head of the screw broke off, the rest of the screw spun right out with just my fingers.

Try a screw extractor. It's a reverse drilling bit that digs into the head of the screw and should break the screw loose. Of course, the screw will be useless afterwards, so you'll need replacements.

I believe when I tried, I eventually got so fed up with those screws that I just torched them. Had to be careful, but after a little heat, those screws unscrewed with little resistance.
