anyone here replace their clutch lines?
i have a long braided ss line to replace the solid line
(from the clutch master cylinder to the firewall bracket)
also have a short braided ss line to replace the rubber line
(from the firewall to the bracket on the trans)
was wondering if there is a replacement for the remaining short solid line on the trans (from bracket to slave cylinder)
or is this not necessary at all?
also, should i put something on the threads for a better seal, like teflon tape?

No need for Teflon tape. I thought the long SS line replaced everything... including the small damper line on the tranny?

got it from a friend
will have to get more details from him on it
that'll be nice to have only 1 line instead of 3 segments

If it is out line then it will go from the master right to the slave, all one peice.
If its not our line then probably not, I don't think anyone else makes the full line.

This.
Get rid of that POS damper. I ditched mine YEARS ago. I just attached a piece of hard line to the end of my soft line and ran it straight to the slave.
I do intend to one day get the STM full line, but no point in buying it with the car just sitting in the yard. I may have other plans for it anyway.

It's your line I'm the one who gave it to him.

Ok, the fitting with crush washer goes in the slave cylinder, the other fitting goes in the master without a a washer. No need for teflon tape anywhere. Then basically run the line where the stock one went, or however else will work for you.
