700 miles each way, 12mpg average im guessing if i pull with an enclosed trailer, 15 or so on a flatbed, lets budget 3/gallon for diesel, worst case 350 bucks for fuel to get there. Only 4 fuel stops whole trip, maybe a 5th.

The big surprise is as "etched in stone" as it can be at this time. Unfortunately, that's not nearly enough for me to announce it. Basically, the location involved has said "sure, we can do that if scheduling permits, but not until after (insert date here)." We've made it work with our schedule at a few different times so that our chances of working it out are VERY good, and looked for further confirmation based on that. They've not given any response. So we wait... The one thing I will NOT do is announce it prematurely. That's the only way I know to absolutely insure that our request will be denied.
