Reasons why I love this site...

Because it is full of people that are helpful, and actually want to help us with issues we all can have with our cars. The "other" site is full of asshats that are full of themselves and do nothing but bash u if you dont know something pertinent to our cars.

What I said about the REAL good troubleshooter being gone over there is TRUE. Cbatters help me and my son out IMMENSLY and Hans and Jeff have both been to my home and have given me TONS of free advice. Never met Clint (Cbatters), but I REALLY wish I had....

Ya, April I wasnt intending for my comments to be negative, I just have had individuals, not bob, but others that say stupid comments that just act like WE OVER HERE are god(other site). lol Its more personal(for me anyways) here, and I know that alot of the other site members are here too, just less the asshats(mods) .Lots of good troubleshooters here and in my area locally, I just like the difference of opinions on different technical issues. its helps me look at it from all sides.

Usually when people say "search" it is because the question has been asked a bazillion times. Yes we all know the search function sucks on the forums, but google works great. Seriously, in one month I counted at least 10 different thread on CEL light on a 94-95 (hybrid). A simple 30 second search would have answered the questions.

That is what wrong with people today... to lazy to go and look for the answers, instead they just want it handed to them.

I'm not saying Sin'sVR4's question had a searchable answer... I'm just talking in general.

The only reason people don't tell people to search over here is because there isn't 10+ years of database to search through.

Usually when I tell people to search, I will tell them exactly what terms to search. If they can't find the thread or the answer, then they probably shouldn't be working on their car anyway.

Very understandable... But with Sin'sVR4's questions they aren't that general.. And when ever I ask questions I make sure that its something that some one with knowledge / or had the same issue in the past can chim in... General questions=Google for sure..

So no hate directed towards you April.. You have helped me alot as far as information goes, some in ways that you may not be aware of cause I just looked at your answers in a thread..

I see part of the point they are trying to make.. But at the same time.. Sin is a guy who at least take the cake for trying to work out the problems on his own.. I try to do my best.. Believe me I hate reaching out for help unless its absolutly needed...

No really, Boomer understood the point I was trying to get across... And I said somewhat of a valid point... I understood what they were trying to say, they could have been a little nicer about it though (but boys will be boys ;)). It's kind of fun to get a glimpse into the "guy's world". You boys have just as much drama as girls.

This site has it's share of less than knowledgable but spreading their gospel around members. Only a few but that's all it takes.

Other than that...This site is far better. More of a car meet feeling over here. More enthusiasts.
