I've been getting lots of the fake despatch notifications from UPS etc. Same thing with an attached PDF.

yep, like above I've been getting UPS and USPS emails saying i have an order shipped and to click for more details.. sucks cause I have been actually ordering parts recently and thats a very sneaky dirty way to catch people.. luckily like the op I am also some what computer smart and checked on it all first.. I seems like lately I've been getting email from people off my facebook friends or something like that that are spam.. basically using just the last name of someone and an initial and trying to get me to open links..
