I have been searching high and low to find the appropriate springs and struts. I am finding that there is some weird exception for my car with the sunroof. Does anybody know what a good spring/strut combo is. I read somewhere you couldnt use KYB GR-2's on mine or something. Please inform me because Im confused.

I believe the diameter of the base of the rear spring was a different size on your model. but if you are changing springs and struts, as long as you get a set that compliment each other, I don't see why you couldn't.
Edit: look that up, because if it is the top of the rear spring then you would need a "model specific spring"

Thats the thing. I want Tein S Techs but some of them say excluding electric sunroof but others done and they are showing the same p/n.

HR Sport Kit Stage 2 Springs from HorsepowerFreaks (http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdetails/HR/Suspension/Springs/Sport_Kit_Stage_2/2293) that says it will fit, do you have ecs?

wait, nevermind your getting new struts too, i don't see why any kit wouldn't work, I'm pretty sure its the strut perch that was different, maybe look up struts on autozone.com , and see if it asks for sunroof or not, if it does then its the struts that are different, if not its the body perch, and then we'll have to do some more digging.

Gotcha, maybe that was the key. I wanted to go with KYB's and the S-Techs but I saw that ans was worried. Hopefully, it will be OK. Thanks for the help.

You can run STechs and KYB's but you need to order 94 upper mounts due to spring diameter differences. I have a 95, sunroof, STechs and KYB's going in...
Check out Dynamic's site for reference. I ordered a bunch of oem suspension stuff to go with the teins and kybs from cherry hill.

What are the 94 upper mounts? Why does it have to be complicated, lol.

It is not complicated, go to Cherry Hill, buy the upper mounts for a 94 suspension, done. The springs are a different diameter for ECS cars so all you're doing is converting your rear suspension to ECS model year components.

I do not have them installed yet, hopefully this weekend, but I have test fit the springs to the rear struts and 94 rear suspension parts I ordered and all is good!
MB631669 INSULATOR, RR (2) This is the upper mount $62.06ea.
MB631668 PAD, RR SUSP SPRING,UPR (2) The rubber pad that fits in between the spring and the upper mount (insulator) $9.30ea.
Ordered from Cherry Hill, mitsparts dot com under the OEM Catalog. For the fronts I entered my info for the actual car (95), but for the rear I entered a 94. As far as I know 91-94 rears were the same and are what the Tein S was designed to fit, hence the not for electric sunroof notes, but there are many people out there running S techs on non-ecs cars.
I'll update you once I get everything done--brakes, aws delete, springs/struts, maximal rear control arms and a HKS DLI all waiting in the gargage:)
