Nice, love the red on the first gens.

Are you sure it isn't a 1991? I thought the 300ZX was before us by a year.

I'm gathering parts to do my RHD conversion. Hope mine looks as clean and straight as yours. Is that factory finish or a repaint at sometime in the past?

Indeed. I can't lower the car until I figure out a way to not scrape leaving the driveway. I already scrape :(.

painted both fenders, l/h rear 1/4, rear hatch and spoiler and drivers door (our drivers)

then buffed and waxed it all.

looks like a PS job, too much dodge tool its lost the door lines etc.

the color is ever so slightly out but only i can see it. its a touch and i mean a touch lighter than the stuff that was there originally which isn't the original paint. it has been poorly resprayed in the past.

Air suspension... :D. Or pour some of your own cement where the driveway and road meet. Or maybe some wood.


Id be ecstatic to own a legit GTO. Jealousss. Shes gorgeous.

First 300ZX came out in 1989.

Not true. 300ZX [Z31] came out in 1983. A mate bought one brand new in 1987. What your thinking of is the 2nd gen [Z32] 300ZX which came out in 1989.

Odd, mine seems to sit lower in the rear, I think the previous owners did a hack job on it. :(

:lol: at the driveway scraping, I had to completely redo mine just to get her in! I have pics of it in the Home Improvement thread.

she is now shod with new rubber all round. it had the wrong size tires on and i only noticed friday when i was cleaning the brakes and repainting the calipers. it had 235/45/17 all round its now back to 245/45/17 its only took me 5 months to notice :lol:

Looks great, man!!! Very nice job fixing it up & getting it all to shine so nicely!!!
