Was wondering if anyone had ever seen this before, I was surfing the web to find a set for my car and stumbled upon these. I think they're pretty cool looking, but probably highly impractical for a useful application.
They're made out of some 2" thick polycarbonate and cost $5,000 for ONE :eek5:

I actually like them. But that could be me drooling at the big ass brakes behind them too. Not sure about air flow tho.....

I like them but yeah it would suck to try and keep the backs of them clean.
i prefer "hubless" wheels. ala the "tron light cycles". :)

Hub less, sextuplet ball bearing, quad turbo, osmosis, wheels are my personal favorite ;)

I do think they're pretty neat, but BIG breaks are a must with them. Cleaning, ventilation, and weight would be my concerns with them. I can also see that the guy has stretched tires on them... Idiot lol.
