I have a 91 vr4. It's got 99XXX miles on it. Runs like a scalded cat! I've just done a ton of work to get it running right. New ecu, fuel pump, fuel filter, gas tank, plugs, wires, ecu, and thermostat.... Could use having the 60k done as it'd been sitting for a while before I did this work on it. The bad part is the body needs some work. It used to be figi blue and someone painted it piss yellow. They did a horrible job of the paint work. In the mean time I picked up a straman 92 vr4. So I have no interest in the hard top now. I've been asking $3500 obo for it since it's lower mileage. I've had lots of interest, but no buyers. I have someone who has offered me a 94 sl (which would become my dd) and $700 for it... should I take it?

It's missing the drivers side skirt, door skirt, mirror, and headlight cover all of which I've been offering to throw in with the sale from my parts cars.

Pics so you guys n gal know what you're judging me trading off.

Probably not too bad a deal, maybe talk down the $700 a bit since you're throwing in parts as well.

Assuming the SL is in decent shape. I'd do it.

This is not related to your trading it or not (though I'd definitely do it from the looks of things since you got another vr4 and he's giving you an SL AND 700 bucks) but is that a stock shifter in that thing? It looks awfully tall!

Yes it's a stock 91 vr4 shifter. Those things are like driving a truck haha.

Haha, I guess my car already had a STS in it when I bought it then. I remembered reading the stock shifter was pretty long and when I got my car thought "Well this isn't that bad at all!"
