Thanks...wow, it's amazing how dirty the carpet looks in that picture. I guess it's time to have it cleaned. Most of the tracks are from some dude that was here a few weeks ago doing an appraisal of the property.

Here he is in full glory (flaring), pictures from the breeder. He looks a little crappy in my pictures because that was the day he came in. I was a little skeptical ordering a fish from Thailand, though either he would arrive dead or it wouldn't be the fish I bought. But to my surprise, he exceeded my expectations by A LOT.

He gets along with the other fish in the tank surprisingly (a couple of cories and loaches), but of course he won't tolerate another of his own kind in there. I bought a $4 one from Wal-Mart to help the tank cycle, and he didn't get along with the cories or loaches, he would chase and nip at them. That fish is now in a 1.5g tank going to the auto store where I do my bead blasting.

mollie, our yorkie. she was the runt of the litter we think. she has an enormous amount of personality for a yorky... she is more a terrier than any other one i have seen. she is cute and all but i dont care for her honestly. she is too prissy for me (my parents fault)

when she was young, she was almost all white. and as she aged, she developed a big black spot of fur on her back, took up a large part of her back. its strange seeing her like this haha. i think this was back when she was still 1. the above pic, she was probably 3 or 4 (you can see part of the black on her back)

Never barks, loves absolutely everyone (attention whore), doesn't bite or snap, will just as happily sit/slumber soundly on your lap as she will play "chase me" around the back yard; basically a Golden Retreiver minus the "fetch" (bad, BO, etc), plus a couple dozen IQ points, and in a Chihuahua body. Every female vet-tech she's ever seen has threatened to steal her, because she's just too damn adorable. Not bad for a 1-year-old resucue who was abandoned in a repo'd house with another chihuahua and a dachshund (Chihuahua was gone by the time we had arrived, Dachshund was older and needed medical care).
P.S.
yes, there's a smiley face in her markings.

We have had him for a little over a year now. There is quite the story that goes with him, but his name is Thor. We thought somebody dumped him in our neighborhood back in late October of 2013. Finally in December, I saw him jogging with a lady that lived about 1.5 miles up the street. I stopped and asked if it was her dog, she said no but it was hanging around her house for about three weeks. I asked if she minded if I took the dog to the vets and shelter to see if they recognized him or if he was microchipped, and if she wanted to keep him if nobody claimed him. She said she couldn't keep him, she'd had asked most of the neighborhood (we have maybe 20 houses and everybody knows everybody) but nobody claimed him or even knew where he came from. So in car the he went, smelling like garage and death (literally), he was a bag of bones and fur. Nobody recognized him, he was more than year old, not neutered, not microchipped, covered in fleas & ticks, and had ringworm. We adopted him when nobody came forward looking for him. We left our phone number at another vets office and the shelters. There was even a facebook post about him.
October of last year I was taking all three dogs on our daily walk, and we were almost 2 miles in when some guy driving by stopped. Now mind you I had been walking the dogs for the last five months, almost everyday. He said I stole his dog. I laughed and said I've had him for almost a year now. He said he went door to door looking for him, and then kept asking where I lived. I told him "up the street". Had he came to our house, he would have seen Thor as our dogs are outdoors. You cannot see our house from the road, and our electric fence is before the dogs can see the road. He swore he searched for his dog, and at this point I was pretty nervous, he was a big guy. I think he was scared of the other two dogs, so he didn't get out his SUV. The sad thing was his father-in-law knew we had the dog for at least four months, as their dog followed me home after our walks and stayed for almost three days before they came and got it. The FIL said the daughter bought the dog when they had no business owning the dog, got kicked out of their house, had a kid, and then tied the dog to a tree behind F-I-L house. F-I-L felt bad for the dog, let him loose, said he was better of fending for himself, and hoped somebody would pick him up. He was glad it was us, because he saw Thor's condition and was amazed how good he looked. He also told us his real name, because we had named him "Albe" but he wasn't really responding to that. Son in law said he was going to call the cops and come get his dog but he never did. And I asked everybody in the neighborhood if anybody came looking for the dog, and even his immediate neighbors said "no". Even talked to an attorney just to make sure. We had all his vet records from when we got him and had the vet do a condition report when we had him tested for heartworms (which thank god he didn't have surprisingly). He gained 10 pounds in just the first month we had him. All together he has gained about 23 pounds. He's still kind of small for a huskie, he's about 50 pounds, while our other huskie is almost 80.
Right after we got him

And about four months later and an additional 15 pounds:

Yeah he has really become part of the family. There are two bad habits that I cannot seem to break him of, digging and jumping up on people. He was a blessing in disguise I guess, he came to us two days before we had to unexpectedly put down our youngest cat (Brutus).
I forgot our newest addition too, Gatsby. He's a maine coon from Congo Coons in Alabama. We got him in November. He'll be seven months in 2 days, and he weighs more than 12 pounds.

Here's an pic of my old buddy 'Knobby', a rumpy Manx- not around anymore, but had a great run of 16 years. Aside from completely tail less, Manx are a unique breed in a good way- & ginger cats are apparently notorious for being good nature (what my vet friends suggested), & was an entertaining roommate.
7852
I've had cat & dog pets throughout my life, but never experienced a connection with an animal at this level- for his last 4 years we worked as a team to manage his diabetes. Truth be told, he prettymuch ran the show-
Gotta say, I wasn't to optimistic at first about wrestling him for his daily insulin injections- but in short order, I was the one getting the lower leg 'scratchpost' reminder that's it's shot time. Soon as I got the syringe sorted, he would come up & settle down in front of me all in position...boom..& off on your way. Couple times came staggering down to the shop to let me know he was low & a quick rub of honey on the gums would perk him up.

Hell.....where do i begin?
About 7 months after making this thread i got another Min Pin. He is black/tan just like the 2 in the picture but he is smaller. His name is Thor, he is 4 years old now and will be a daddy in about 3 weeks.
In September of '13 we picked up another Min Pin. She is Chocolate/tan and is awesome. Her name is Rainha and she will be 2 years old in June. She is gonna be a mommy in about 3 weeks.
This is what our zoo currently consists of:
4 Min Pin dogs (1 of them being pregnant)
3 African Spurred Tortoises
2 Green Cheek Conure birds
1 Cat
This is Rainha playing with the cat.

Our three shelties are named Mitsu, Beeshe, and Mirage. Our two older ones have been been to all 10 of the Factory MOD events in Illinois over the years. And since I can't get to Facebook from my work computer I had to snag this picture off of Mitsubishi's website. LOL We try and take them on a lot of vacations.

Here's my new pup. Picked him up a week ago from a friend in Dallas. He just showed up at his house one day. After searching for an owner and no response after a month, I made the drive to Dallas and picked him up. We're still learning how to live with each other, but he's such a smart dog, I have no doubts he'll be a great pet.

That was just after getting back from the groomers, and the attention he was getting from the cute chicks that work there!

The puppies have landed !! She gave birth to 3 beautiful puppies on 5/3/15. We have 2 Choc/Tan and 1 Black/Tan. The 2 Choc are girls and the Black one is a boy. Crazy that she had the same color/sex combo as her and the daddy.
Today they went to get their dew claws removed and their tails docked. We are gonna leave the ears up to the people that buy them.
I will get some pics once i can snap some good ones. She is guarding the heck out of them right now.
