I want to say there was a company on the Challenger forum that says they could do it, but I don't remember their name. It may be these people
RDP Store - Inlet Manifold Coating Bright Chrome and Black Chrome (http://www.rdpstore.com/p-471-inlet-manifold-coating-bright-chrome-and-black-chrome.aspx)
And I too have been wondering this same question... oohnoo just got some wheels done, and I think they do plastic. I was going to contact them to see if they would do plastic... so let me know if they do :)

Wow, no good news; CV Custom Finishes Inc - 1-877-763-2323 (http://www.cvvacuumplaters.com/) is going out of buisness. I had my water bottle done and I was in awe, it was the most excellent job I had ever seen on chrome plastic plating also know as vacuum metalizing. Prices were okay, they had a minimum order of $150 but thats no problem right lol. They were very hesitant at first warning me, oh the bottle is gonna melt blah blah blah, I saif here is the money do it, these bottle can withstand quite some heat. it worked out great. Last year I tried it again and suddenly it seemed their prices had doubled and they even were more hesitant. So no wonder they are out of business I think.
Whatever you do , do not go the chrome paint way. Done that too and their system is far from perfect. I have tried 3 different vacuum metalizers and two are out of business and the third I would not recommend. I have used 2 chrome painters and the system sucks, day one looks great then the detoriation starts slowly. lots of contaminants start to show , any chemical will fuck it up including rain.
For metal chroming I recommend rbchroming.com

Excuse my ignorance, but what is magic chrome?
dbest671

magic chrome is the chrome paint DuTTch was talking about, and well Mark wasn't to impressed with it at all.

Stb does not do it.
If you have a fishing lure manufacturer around, they will have the facilities to do it. You will probably have to do some talking to get them to though.

I got two replies back. Both of them said that they were afraid that the parts wouldn't take the heat. I don't know if I should just tell 'em (like DuTTch) to just try it. I got extras.

tell em to try it.. if you have a replacement its worth knowing.. and have them send you pictures after its done so you know if you want to have it shipped back or just tossed.. lol.. is chrome plating plastic the anti-weight reduction fad?

You're welcome, let me know how it comes out because they are only like 60+ miles from me. I thought about having some wheels black chromed, but if they can black chrome plastic... oh shit it's on.

lol at "Oh shit it's on".. I was gonna do this but found a cheap way to make mine appear to be carbon fiber, so I may just do that.. it seems way cheaper.. gonna look hot though $$$.. I'll have to check it out when its done..
