I do. Not fanatical, but I watch the races when I can. I'm a fan of the Joe Gibbs drivers and can't stand the pretty boy drivers like Gordan and Johnson.

I dont follow it but the new push/pull 2x2 thing the guys are doing is pretty badass! Makes it pretty exiting. A guy can get a good run and make up half a lap in 5 minutes, thats unheard of racing "on your own"

I watch sometimes, I'm not a big fan but will watch the Daytona, Bristol, and some others. I pretty much quit watching it when football season kicks in though.

i think the road coarses are the best races, them cars are heavier than most of ours and there ripping around the track pretty fast and they have solid rear axles lol

ever since i did a stint in racing and got to go to driver meetings and behind the wall at michigan in richards pettys stall i have been a fan. when you get this close you get hooked. i did not care for the datona 500 as is was a wreckfest but still congrats to the kid.. i enter wind tunnel super 7 where you pick 7 drivers for points and prizes, also espn has a contest to pick 5 drivers for points. in the super 7 you pick some in cup, some in truck, and some in nationwide .. last week i came in 34853 place, pretty bad but last year snap on had a contest to pick winners eash wwek for the 36 races and going into the last race i was in second place about 10 points out and jeff gorden wrecked and ruined me,, the yearly winner got a $10000 box of tools.. so yes i guess iam a fan..

I watched the 500, was pretty cool seeing the 2 man draft. Might watch some of the rest of the races, there's nothing else to do on Sunday's most weekends anyway.

Mainly why I watch. It goes a bit deeper with me but all and all it is the reason I watch.

i only rarely follow it. nascar has gotten more stale than the NFL. johnson is not THAT good of a driver; i don't give a shit how many championships he's won. watching johnson win is like watching the fucking patriots or the steelers win the superbowl; it's old and boring.

i've always been a fan of stewart and martin. why? because those two are the same kind of person--only with a little bit different personalities. the only way either will ever stop racing is when you pry the steering wheel from their lifeless hands. i miss the days when drivers would run double-headers memorial weekend. bunch of pussy-ass MF's we have lately.

Its a good football filler for me. I like Kasey Kahne. Also was very impressed with that Trevor Baine kid, I hope to see him continue to do well.

ROFLMFAO! maybe 10 years ago. i have much more respect for stewart than i have for junior, johnson and gordon...COMBINED.

anyone who think's he's an ass must not be paying much attention to kyle busch.

Stewart stopped being an ass after he became an owner/racer, his sponsors wouldn't put up with his shit.

like him or hate him, you can't deny that he's a driver; it's in his blood. he'd drive go-karts for a living if he had to. he simply cannot stop racing--it's too much a part of him. that's why i have so much admiration for him. he's not a poster child; he's not in it for the money (although i'm sure he enjoys his winnings). tony stewart drives because he's a driver. it's what he was born to do.

bumping this because tony stewart deserves congratulations. i'm thrilled he won. :)

another thing he did was furnish morgan sheppard with a engine so he could run the last race

Smoke FTW.

Sunday's race was the most NASCAR I have watched in years. Since Rusty Wallace retired my interest declined, but I still had vested inerest in Stewart. He was always a close 2nd to Wallace in my book. He runs hard nosed, but clean. He's not a douchecanoe like the Busch brothers or Robby Gordon.

Good to see his tear in the Chase pay off. Winning 5 of 10 races is a feat in itself. To do it to claim a championship is almost unbeleiveable.
