Would be good to go against 3si but cars are family haha, why dont we destroy another make or something instead of going head to head with our own cars? beating 3si would be fun nonetheless.

^Win, those tests look like we would have the upper hand, and all we need to do is get the guy with most track time and best upgrades and they will be destroyed.

Only 3s that is capable to compete against top supras is pitroad ms gto. I dont think there are any (road race)3s cars in the US that would come even close.

Well, Erron might have a shot, but I honestly don't know the full specs of the GSC's or Steve's car. I am fairly sure that Steve is in the 750whp range.

Willow Springs -
Steve's record lap
- 1:26.3 - Steven Aslanian (Steve A) - Twins Turbo Supra #007, Hoosiers - 2007
I have seen pitroad m gto pulling similar usually faster track times agains mines R34 GT-R althou mines is a street car full interior etc and very production based where the gto is a fully built endurance race car like the autoselect R34 GT-R. I have also seen pitroad m compete head to head agains autoselect R34 GT-R
autoselect R34 GT-R is one of the fastest (road race) GT-Rs anywhere in the world !
Mines R34 GT-R (2007)
HKS GT2530x2

weight ?
Autoselect gtr

850ps(2009)
weight ?

just for the record Autoselect R34 GT-R does tsukuba in 56s range(back in 2005).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au2v9TNnqHc&feature=watch_response
same thing around suzuka
Mines :2'19"960
Autoselect: 2.13,2 (2005)
bottom line autoselect R34 GT-R is a much faster car than mines R34 GT-R
autoselect gt-r , pitroad m gto (2009) only one i can find right now but there is more

I do wonder why pitroad m continue with the GTO...

Even though I don't like Royal Purple, I LOVE this idea. And I do love what Royal Purple does for the car community.
The 3000GT vs the 300zx would be awesome.

I don't know what he doesn't like about Royal Purple, but I've used it in four different VR4s, three fully built (600+ AWHP) and one dead stock. In every case, the vehicle lost 8-10 psi in oil pressure at 2500 RPM on the interstate and 4-8 psi at idle compared to AMSOIL full synthetic. On top of that, oil consumption went up a LOT in all four cars. In similar driving conditions, the cars used a quart of oil in 1100 to 1300 miles when running Royal Purple. With the AMSOIL, oil consumption was a quart every 2500 to 3000 miles. Just my 1.5 cents worth.

Sure there is nothing wrong with your car? Last couple of oil changes that I've had with both my cars using Royal Purple then Redline is that my pressure increased on both cars. I mean a significant increase compared to oem that the dealer fills it with. I actually was too uncomfortable with the stock pressure gauge and actually drained some oil out. Never burn oil or have to fill it once between oil changes, with both cars.
Blackstone analysis was great with RP - got to wait for the next change for Redline, but I'm sure I'll be sticking with it because of the truly full synthetic rating.

Well, I can only cite my experience with it on the four cars I'm familiar with. AMSOIL was the first 100% synthetic oil and it is still fully synthetic. And both oils were the same viscosity rating. And all the gauges were Autometer Mechanical units. Just my 1.5 cents worth.

The cars they have on there are not gutted out cars modded to the max. They have to be good looking cars and for us to win it would have to be a well balanced car (auto-x and drag). Our best car would be a dr750 car with weight reductions that do not make the car look like trash (cfds, hood, wheels, seats, etc), brakes, suspension, and a great driver.

i'm confused by these statements, and am about ready to change my oil. i've been running royal purple for a while, and i just want what's best (for a reasonable price) for ani.
i'm thinking about going with redline despite the price. i heard that it can be ran for slightly longer. but i'm also thinking about running amsoil (which i don't even know the price of yet)
my motor has right around 30k, and i want it to last for another billion miles or so.hahh..
i don't mean to turn this into an oil discussion, but i need 3s owner opinions. say i want to spend 72 bones on an oil change, and change it closer to every 4.5,000 miles. what should i go with?
and what's with the competition? i don't like watching videos.aye sin's vr4, was i trying to contact you hmmm two weeks ago?

A new race series is starting in the UK next year called the "Japanese Supercar Series 2012".
This is the result of what was going to be called The GTO cup and run within the "Nippon Challenge"
But after too many complaints from other Marques, it was decided to run a completely new series open to all Japanese cars between 300bhp to 1000bhp
Should be interesting to see how they perform.
Here is one of the race prepared GTO's
