Let's hear what's gonna happen this season, what are your goals/plans for the year
My plan is just over 500whp, 25xx pounds with cage, any where in the nines with. Stock motor/heads/ cast crank ect. Most important goal of all is to have fun with the car this year and try and make a couple of meets.
Oh ya my other goal is to shift into 4th at the track with the slicks on ;)

My goals for this year are over 500awhp and break into the 11s. I would really like a mid 11.

My goal is 700+awhp with forged 3.1, stage 3 heads, dr-750s, e85. I want to lighten the car up and get her own to 3000-3200lbs.
I want to see atleast high 9's. Oh and daily drive the car. I think it will all be doable.
Also would like to fix up the body some and clean the car up.

I wanna go full bpu+ since i have 16ts. Hoping to get into the mid 12's and high 10X low 11X traps. Oh and I will keep the car as a DD.

Get my yellow 95 vr4 up and running with around 600 awhp while looking stock. I'm not sure if I'll get to take it to the track, but I'd hope for 10's while looking like a normal street car.

The VR-4 is probably 3-5 seconds faster around a 1 minute course :) Taking the 98

But its all about Sacramento Raceway and the 1,320!

I hope to get it back together and running well very very soon with fixed cam seals, turn up the boost and max out the 15g's on pump (possibly meth) and have ~450awhp with a good tune. Need to take it somewhere to get the tune done tho unless I can ever figure out this damn maftpro. Oh, and if I ever make it to the track, I hope to be low 12's possibly even high 11's at 5000ft elevation haha I know that's asking for a bit much tho.

I want to get everything ELSE on the car to the point that I want more power :| just cannot get it stable enough through the bumpy corners at this stage, after I get that done I want to take it to the skid pan and see if all the drivetrain stuff has made any difference! :p

Finish the body conversion, re do my FMIC piping, JDM tails, IPS quad-tip exhaust,
Power goal is 450awhp with my 13T's(via E85)

Getting the Talon painted, properly running, and tuned is my first priority. Hopefully I can finish in time to take it to the track/autox for some fun near the end of the season. :)

I want to see 1100+ maybe even 1200+ hp, compete at Ten Of The Best X and do a low 9 second pass or quicker as well as a 200+ mph pass on the standing km. :unsure:

First and foremost get the car running well. After that I would like to get into the 26xx-27xx pound range (FWD), also get some slicks. Then hit the track for some chassis tuning and practice runs. Hopefully late fall get some all out runs but I am not counting on it this year.

My goal for 2011 is to hit 300awhp. I plan on doing this with 9b's, 450cc blacktops, SAFCII, exhaust and a dyno tune. I am also putting on Tein S-techs and new struts.
have my car back together before fall, and setting a new 3/s record (which i will not expound upon).

Yup. As far as I'm concerned, 600 AWHP is the practical limit of these cars, so that's where I'll stay unless the drive train stays together. If that happens I may go crazy and upgrade turbos again...
The new OEM trans arrived yesterday. It looks beautiful. Two odd things -- it was shipped with fluid from mitsu; it has a giant counter weight on the shift mechanism (like the 6 speeds). When I saw that I immediately looked at the number of freeze plugs (which indicates the number of shift rails) and was relieved when there was only 3. IIRC, the 6 spd has a 4th for reverse.
Anyway, I'm a little excited now :)

What breaks @ 600 AWHP ... The conrods fatigue and fail, the crank cracks, flexes and trashes bearings, the heads lift, output shafts shear, t-cases crack, rear axles break, etc, etc, etc. These cars are easy to get to 600 AWHP and a huge investment per HP after that. Personally, all I've broken is 2 rear axles, 2 t-case main housings, 1 t-case mid housing, 1 25 spline output shaft (twisted another), a handful of 1st and 2nd gear synchros, 3rd gear synchro. I had my RPS CC rebuilt, so that means I've had 6 clutches on the car in 16k miles... LOL
are you referring to pure pump-gas on the 3.0L?
The octane doesn't really matter, but who is making 600 AWHP on pure pump gas in the 3.0L? The most I made was like 520 (11.2x, 126 mph)...

Mostly the same stuff I've had since ~2005: emanage blue, LT1 MAF in blow thru, Titan/DR TD05 Headers, 4" exhaust, stock ignition (MSD wires), ducted FMIC, PTE 780's, twin walbros, AFPR, RPS CC, NoCar T-Case, LSE/3SX Mid housing, Quadco XR OS, 300m rear axles, Hoosier QTP's... All I've been doing the last couple years is trying to make it so this thing can cut reliable 1.5's.

Goal is 130mph trap while keeping nearly stock appearance and A/C. Here's the basics of what will be going on this summer/fall...
16G (non-mhi) 3sx kit - in mail.
2-bolt Forged motor - crank purchased. rods/pistons will be ordered soon
Stock heads/cams
E85 - Aeromotive 340, 1000cc - not ordered yet
FMIC - will be flipped upsidedown to retain fog lights
AEM EMS or Maft gen2 blow-thru - Can't decide :confused:
Stock TC with maximal brace. Maybe billet front/mid if I skip EMS and go with Maft
Basic weight reduction - gutted trunk, removed crash bars, ABS, AWS and cruise delete.
Street tires.
Looking for traps first. ET later after I beef up the driveline.

You dont need to be a good welder while installing that kit. I didn't have to weld a single thing.
hahahahahaha, have you checked alot of the recent threads on it? seems like the latest batch are not so crash hot.

and I've got a fully forged 306 (a REAL 69 BOSS block at that) new heads/comp thumper cam... 2800 stall... and a shit ton of spray :D Im just gonna spray my way to 600rwhp. Thats more than enough to get me into the 10s.
This is going into a 1995 cumstain.
I think I want a Veyron engine as a Coffee table.
