I would expect the SS to discolor due to the heat, but I love how everything in the engine bay is brand new and looks 'wet'. Beautiful. How's it run?

considering burnt-out mkiv shells are selling for 15k, i'm not surprised. did he ever post a timeslip. i heard something laughably silly about him thinking he was going to break into the 6's with it. not saying that's not possible; but he needs a wheelie bar, parachute, full roll cage, etc; even IF he's going to keep it full interior.

One heck of a good job. Looks amazing. Wonder what the total price of that build was though... I'm just going to guess a big hole in the wallet.

Added that pic I was speaking of to the OP.

I would have thought so too, but it's held up for two+ years. Not DD'ed, but still driven. No idea, I've never seen a dyno sheet, and certainly no timeslips.

The engine isn't built, so he's certainly not shooting for 6's. It's maybe 500RWHP... idk though, that's just an estimate based on his set up.

Lots of money, but not as bad as you'd expect, considering the water and fire damage making the base car cheap and a lot of friends helping him out. Plus the money saving approach on some things, like the SS pot, lol. The turbo set up was probably the most expensive part of the build.

Fucking beautiful.

If only it were physically possible to fit a 2jz under my hood...

I'm sorry, but I'd take an inline 6 ANY day over a V6. I look forward to owning a nice BMW in the future. M power ;)

why half ass it? if you've already gone to the trouble to put 6 cylinders IN LINE, why not put 12 of them in a vee? to me, it's just a waste of space otherwise. i'm a fan of v12 supra conversions. problem is, they're still RWD, so all you're doing is finding a quicker way to burn through tires.

Why add more weight when you can achieve the same power with a 2JZ that most v12s will make quite easily?

I know this car. I've been on tristatetuners and met him at Sonic.
