Well i'm alive lol. Thankfully it changed direction slightly and Cairns only got fuck loads of wind and rain. But not at catagory 5 strengths. It totaly destroyed a small town south and damaged some other areas. I stayed in a motel in a town over the hill and got stuck there till yesterday. Trees down blocking all the roads to Cairns. Got home to no power and no phones/net. Got power back on at 10pm last night and got phones and net back mid afternoon today. Hopfully we don;t have to go through that again anytime soon. Moved from Melbourne last year where my house was 500meters from the bush fires and no get the worsrt cyclone to hit Australia in 100years. I might move to alice springs where nothing ever happens. Doesn't rain ever and no trees to burn in the desert hahaha.
