So I have a new engine i am about to put in my 1992 RTTT. I jsut read that post about the guy spinning a bearing on a "new short block " and this is whats done so far,

Rebuilt 2Bolt block
---CP 8.5:1 Pistons
---Stock Shotpeened rods
---Machined Forged Crank
--- All new bearings
---New Rear Main Seal
Refreshened heads
---Port and Polish
--- Swirl Polished Valves
---Valves are Lapped
--- Heads are Decked
--- Cleaned
---new Cam seals
---new Valve Stem Seals
New OEM Oil Pump
New OEM water Pump
New OEM Tensioners and Idler
Power Enterprises Kevlar Timing Belt
TD05 16G kit (used)
--Chinabay turbos (the common minimal shaft play for these)
-- Ceramic Coated 02 Housings
---Ceramic Coated Headers
--- Ceramic Coated Exhaust housings
--- New oil Feeds (4AN)
--- New Oil Returns (8an)
FMIC with Custom Piping
New face for the FIDANZA Flywheel
New Slave Cylinder
New Clutch Line

All New Gaskets... ect


now im thinking of making a Oil cooler too...

any suggestions that im missing?

Great set-up. what do you plan on doing for fuel/engine management.

Hey Seth, I'll be using safc for now, and going to aem someday lol, my friends gunna tune it, but for now I'll be breaking it in at wastegate pressure and the stock injectors, hot-wired supra pump and new fuel filter :p

Injectors will come once the engine is broken in, I don't wanna wash the new cylinders down with fuel trying to tune it

Should be fun once its done, make sure you take your time putting it together, and be very very very clean!

Don't forget to get a nice clutch, Wideband controller and gauge or an EGT and gauge, and a datalogger.. in case you don't already have those things..
other than that it sounds good and pretty damn familiar...
