one of the most interesting threads we had was discussing what people were doing with their cars, as in getting ready for the track, building a beastly weekend warrior..daily driver etc what people are setting out to do :)

I think I'm building her up to be capable of stupid power..but with the actual goal being fun on the track...specifically circuit.

Way to go Mike kick starting everything on the new forum!
My goals on the GTO are having sustainable power that is an overkill for daily use but still tame enough to go to Coles and get the shopping done. Approx 300awkw. My car is a daily driver, i did at first plan to use it strictly as a weekender but compared to the 34 lol shes a rocket! The 34 became the weekender and the GTO became the daily cause i couldnt resist driving her everyday :D

Mike is the new forum whore hahahaha. He's trying to steal Scotty's crown. I hope to make 500hp eventually. Standalone computer, injectors, dual walbro, 19Ts, etc. Just need to strenghen the old TC first. But as said above it still has to be streetable. Need to be able to drive it in traffic etc.

almost forgot I'm attempting to convince myself to mount a twin plate clutch on the car that's well known for exploding gearboxes... :| GRRR

Yeah i am selling it, it is a turbo but still auto. Im pretty sure my cousin wants it, so ill be glad to see it go to a good home

Yeah i have gone through a few cars but I only have eyes for the GTO now, everything else just doesn't cut it anymore! Besides i need the extra space in the garage and my cousin is busting for the car lol

Goal for this year, get my extractors custom fitted to the TR and hope to make around 155-160kw's at the front wheels.

Goals for the car long term, Set of massive cams, mildy ported heads, and 75 crank.

She WAS my DD but some recent issues have changed that. Luckily I have another 6g7 powered car to use as my daily :d

I'm still aboot bishes. :p

I'de love to have mine reliably do 11's - driving to and from the track. Then I'de convince myself that 10's aren't far away and I'de go for that. lol

375awkw, 500awhp is my aim, run mid to low 11s all day, already got the suspension sussed out so now to add a pair of td04 15gs mhi. Yes it is possilbe to make that power on a set of mhi 15gs, several guys in the states have done it :D. Ive already got a set of 272 grind cams in, add some cam gears, emanage ultimate, e85 tune and already have just under 300awkw so should get there without too much fuss. I love going up the mountains and around the tight tracks which is why am sticking with the smaller td04 option, should still be getting minimal turbo lag and max boost under 3k.

My 13gs just arrived, they look way too small...
Anyhow once I get them in and the fuel upgrades done.. Then the brake upgrade.. Front strut bar..
I'll still be the slowest in my class in the sprint series, but may be able to take out the time attack (if Scotty doesn't show up) ...
Why ??
In Time attack I'm in Street Class, in Sprint Series I'm in AWD class...
