Oil cooling seems to be a very popular topic these days. Where to put the cooler, how to mount it, where to run the lines etc... C3 designed a kit a while back that addresses many of these issues...

We use only high quality Derale oil coolers. 10" x 10" x 1.25"

These kits hard mount. Meaning the kit includes welded steel brackets that attach to your frame. No drilling required, meaning these mount to your fame using existing factory drilled holes.

Side ways mounted, meaning most FMIC kits clear with zero issues. Another key to the side mounting is that you wont need to put your oil cooler up in front of your FMIC or A/C condenser. Why force 200+ degree air from your oil cooler right through your intercooler? The whole point is to cool the air!

8" fan that pumps out 650 CFM. Keep your oil cooling even while sitting at a stop light or at the Track.

Kit comes with a thermostat that threads right into the hard line. So the fan only comes on once you actually need the cooling.

ON SALE - $50 off

Picked up this oil cooler from mike. (Great guy to deal with by the way) I just started to install it. Clearances are just perfect. Comes with enough oil line so you can mount it in the Normal position or turn it sideways. And with the fan pushing more CFM then a TD05 i am not worried at all about keeping the oil cool. Installs in about 15min. well if you have a lift. maybe 45 if your on your back using a jack. Here are some pics i took while installing it on the shops project car

I can fit two of these bad boys in there

got any thicker cores available, or is that un-necessary because of the fan? there's enough room in there for a larger core, so if i can get a 2" or thicker core, i'm down for it.

This one works great at maintaining good oil temps. We have ran this kit on several very modified 3S's with great results.

With that being said...

We are set to release our new 2+ inch core/fan that we have on our track car this week...
