I will still surf 3si for info occasionally, let's face it, it will take years to duplicate the info from that site here, especially since so many pioneers of the platform are long gone. However, I am loyal to the platform and its core members, the site that hosts us doesn't really matter to me. It is disappointing that things turned out the way they did, but that's what happens with corporate greed.

Agreed on all counts.

I'm hoping the we can poach as much of the good information as we can. Granted, much of it will be tough to do, but it is possible to build another knowledge base. And frankly, with all the 'lessons learned' over the years, build a knowledge base that is even better than before with less clutter and dead ends now that we know certain things that work and don't work.

I'm confident in the community to pull together on this.

So far so good for me... I'm being very careful to stay out of all this stuff, though. This is Alan's site, not mine. Hopefully they understand that and how much damage they'd do to the community if they banned me, subsequently cutting off NG info. That would be really sad...
