I picked one of these up with the recent sale. It is pretty good, but I was expecting a bit higher quality.

The tubing seems a bit thin and I have my doubts about the flares holding up to repeated tightening and losening cyles over the years. I did not make them super tight because I was afraid of damaging them.

Be careful installing these. Mine were full of burrs in the flares and when I wiped them out my paper towel was grey from tiny bits of aluminum. Clean them well before installing or you'll have aluminum in your injectors.

On the other hand the fit was really good and it is clear they will flow better than stock.

7/10 - They should've been de-burred and cleaned out of the box. After purchasing them I think I would prefer stainless steel for the additional strength.

Overall experience was good as usual, shipment was very fast and I would order over again, just wanted to mention a few things to look out for.

I had them install one on my car when it was their, they tried 3 of them before they found one that didn't leak out the flair ends. But they made it worth my hassle like they always do with problems

mine worked fine with no leaks. im just a little bummed about how it doesnt clear my cxracing ic pipe but then again its not really 3sx's fault. i ended up just cutting a 1.5" piece of vacuum hose lengthwise to slip over it so that my cxracing ic pipe wouldnt ware through the fuel loop and start a fire in the engine bay. so far its worked fine.

Thanks for the review on these, I have been looking at them, they are on sale again currently @ 3sx and look like a dress/up and function upgrade.

move the pipe a little higher by pulling out of the turbo a bit more. mine clears just fine.

Thanks for the review. I was close to getting one but I don't really like the colors. Nice to know about ths shavings and aluminum/SS deal.

its worth picking this kit up just for the adaptors... extremely good deal on sell. i bought two even though i'm not using the loop part of it. i needed the adaptors and i got four for the price of two!

I found them to be right on par with the OP's post. Would have preferred another color though...

My order is in, I should be installing them this weekend with some other items if its not too dang cold mang. You guys and your ultra clean engine pics, i.e. Thor, and that engine bay thread; I am very envious!

I had the same issue with the first one a bought years ago. The aluminum tubing they use is thin and will leak if it is overtightened. I just ordered one just for the adapters as the price of the full kit is cheaper than just getting one adapter. I am going to be building a custom Hardline setup like the Oohnoo kit so I need the adapters. I'll have to order one more adapter to replace the old blue ones I have. I like the raw aluminum ones better than the blue ones.

Truthfully any part should be cleaned before installing it. Just alone to clean off the shelf dust!

What are you guys doing that are just using them for the adapters? Flexible line? Dual feed?

I am running -6an lines from the tank to the fuel rail. I will be building SS hardlines to loop the return side of the rails back to the FPR like what Oohnoo's set-up is like. I will be using black/aluminum fittings as I don't like the look of the blue ones.

you can always just paint the fittings black if you have some blue ones already.

I have a mix of blue and aluminum fuel rail adapters now. I have one left to replace and then they are all aluminum. I'll just sell the blue ones. The fittings I was referring to were the flare nuts on the loop. Since I am building my own hard lines I will be using the black flare nuts and sleeves as I like the black ones better than the blue ones. Austin spoiled me with the black ones as the tank-fuel filter fuel kit I bought came with the black/aluminum fittings and I think they look great on the car considering it is flat black and the engine will be all black and SS.

I agree on liking the black fittings better than the blue and red. For some reason when i started my fuel setup I ordered blue/red so I just stuck with that theme. (Eventually I will most likely change everything to black.) I picked up a used eK2 loop and have yet to install it. I'm hoping I don't have issues with my FMIC piping like thor did but we will see.

But you cannot beat the price for the rail fittings even without using the loop.

is the consensus that it's better to switch to a parallel setup, or do people like keeping it series?

hell i think you are better keeping it all stock. tons of power made on the stock setup.

i plan on making "tons of power". the idea behind my build is that i'll be limited by myself, not system bottlenecks or limitations. that means that i want to have, say, the capability to run e95 & make 1200 awhp, even if i don't actually tune for it or use it. i would shoot myself if i did a build and came to find 6-12 months later that i wanted more and there was very, very little left to be exploited.

nope. instead, i intend to make this a build where there is so much left on tap that it's absolutely pornographic--even though i'll be putting down 500+awhp. :)

if that's the plan then you'll want a dual feed, rails, 8AN feed, etc.

debating on twin -6 or merging them into a single -8. everything else will be precisely what you listed.
