how do i make it so it doesnt automatically subscribe to a thread when i respond?

i like the auto subscription for when i make a thread but i dont want an auto subscription when just replying to some one else

Click Settings (top right), then general settings, then edit "Default Thread Subscription Mode"

doesnt do what i want, so i guess what i want doesnt exist.

i either choose no subscription or have to do it myself, no options on auto subscribing to my own threads but not auto subscripting to everyone elses that i post in.

guess ill have to do it by hand.
