I've always been a fan of Nissan's. Of course skylines, but we cant forget about Fairlady's and Silvia's. I've always wanted a all three. What everyone else's input? Considering selling my 3000 for a 240 actually..

Haha, I was just being a smartass. If you were to pick one up get a 300ZX, they might be a bit tight to work on but they are the sex.

I have a soft spot for the 300zx, except for the interior and relatively puny brakes it's pretty cool!
I always think of them as part of our "extended family", the odd kid who everybody knows without knowing anything at all. Just like us haha

I used to have a 300zx Turbo. Z31 body style. It was a fun little car to drive, the Z32 style TT would probably be even better. Under the hood in the Z31 was a little tight so I imagine that the Z32 TT would be even worse.

as a owner of a 300zx and 3000gt, i have to say the 300zx is a peice of shit compared next to our cars, maybe not in the drivetrain but for sure in the looks. And silvia/240's are a little too rice. skylines now thats a diffrent story! but what can i say im a :mitsu: guy

Sounds to me like he wants a twin turbo Nissan. Didn't they make one of those.. I can't remember what it was called. Maybe you could help me out?

i heard what he said. turbos are awesome and all; i know i love mine. that said, a c5 z has more horsepower, is way, way easier to work on, has better low end grunt, can also be turbocharged, etc.

if you absolutely HAVE to have twins (and you're not going to get a 3/s) a supra should be your first stop.

C5's are going to be a relatively expensive car along with the attractive supra years. (Not a fan of the early supra body style). 300zx is, imo, a really attractive looking car and has an amazing exhaust note. Better yet, they are generally inexpensive which is probably what he is aiming for judging by him looking at 240's. I think if it was me, I would go c5, but I love Chevy almost as much as I love Mitsu.

I building a Z32 now and I'm pretty excited about it. The one I'm building is a 2+2 and that fake back seat needs to be there for me. They are a bitch to work on. No room in that bay.

If I was starting from scratch I'd get a nice 2+2 5-speed with a bad engine and try to swap in a VQ40 or VQ35 with lower compression and big turbos.... Mabye a future project.

this is just a discussion, I want a TT 3s. Skylines are skylines. 240's can be absolutely not ricey. 300zx's i think are just about as attractive as a 3s, i am open minded, but wouldnt buy a corvette before i would an nsx.

don't get me wrong, z32's can be MADE to look nice; but they aren't that way stock. especially the back end. and of course, you are stuck with a front that looks like a saturn.

If you wanted to put it that way, technically the Saturn looks like the 300ZX as the 300ZX was made before the Saturn ;) .... Those Nissan wannabe Saturns, shame on them :p
