How does the click click start relay work?

what is the reasoning for the click click start relay? Im waiting for mine to get here that I bought off trev. I will try the relay, but just want to know what adding an extra relay will do to resolve the issue? How does it actually work?

Lets see if I can remember this off of the top of my head as it has been a while since I did it and I always forget things once I study them and put them in the past.

The problem w/the car not starting every time is that the power to the starter is insufficient sometimes. By adding in a relay, hooked up to that "insufficient" source which supplies plenty of juice to click over a relay and a 12v source w/the power that you need to actually crank the starter, it allows the small bit of energy required to activate the relay and deliver a strong enough current to start the car.

This all sounded weird coming out right now but that is pretty much it. lol sorry if it doesn't make much sense :P I'm better w/drawings hahah

:p Very close! The point to it is that the stock wire to the relay is just too thin and corodes over time and simply doesn't carry the current to kick the relay, so re-routing it with a new relay and wiring to support it is the key goal in the click click start fix.
