So, since there is a high mileage thread, I figured I'd start a lowest mileage thread. Post up what your lowest chassis mileage is. Let's see some low ones!!!

I've got a 95 3000GT with 12,986 miles.

I remember a similar thread on the old site, i'm sure there was one on there under 1000 miles IIRC

I used to be able to go down the street to this guy named Josh. He was a member on 3si a while back, he had 3 3s sitting at his house at one point. Anyway, it was a 92 Stealth RT/TT with 2,675 miles on it. He sold it a couple years, maybe 3 years ago for, I want to say, $27,000. It was holding the records at the time for the LOWEST millage 3S in the world, and probably still does, whomever has it now. Edit: His username on 3si was ILuv92StealthTT

BUT, even the dash vents on that car were cracked, so I never felt bad about my own being cracked. I had discovered that they were cracked, and I have never seen a man so disappointed in his life when I pointed it out.

The first time I saw this car, he had brought it out to our first 3S meet here in Lubbock that I had put together when I was 17. I felt so privileged to have gotten that car out of the garage for people to see it.

Fun fact: It is actually his DD RT/TT that I had first driven a TT 3s. It was also promptly after that that I had sold my NA and got my VR-4. I blame it all on him. :)

his for-sale thread on 3si http://www.3si.org/forum/f10/2-500-original-miles-1992-stealth-twin-turbo-372659/

Edit: Did a little more research as to me being curious about it. He sold it to a dealer in Ohio for ~$22,000 on eBay. The dealer sold it for $33,900. Here are the pictures they had before selling the car.

I've seen a Jamaican blue vr4 in NJ that had 800ish miles on it. I heard a story about it that a guy had some construction work done on his house and he couldn't afford to pay the contractor, so he gave him the car.

I believe Gary Cooper's spyder vr4 also has 800ish miles on it and he's the original owner.

There was also a red stealth TT in PA that was for sale recently with 2900 miles on it. I believe they were asking $29,000.

There's a guy local to us here in PA, according to his son's fiance (an acquaintance of mine), had 3 VR4's, all under 1000 miles. She showed me some pictures on her phone, none of the odometers though, so, who knows. He had an enormous car collection, all low mileage, high end cars... pretty sick.

ouch. Our 12k mile 3000GT had been sitting under a tree with a tarp over it for 12 years, and surprisingly enough, the dash vents weren't cracked. LOL

I don't remember exactly how many miles are on Gene's (not russian gene) white 91 VR4 but I know it was close to 10k.

I believe he had over 15k miles on it when we did the 60k service to it. We haven't heard from him in a long time.

Not the lowest mileage, but the lowest mileage one we could find: 28K on the Spyder

You mean when I did the 60K? :p

He's doing well. Bought a house, a WRX and now has a son with another on the way! The VR4 just sits in storage. I don't think he has driven it since I replaced the rear wheel studs a couple years ago.

I mean when I had to redo it because you set the tensioner wrong and it skipped a couple teeth... no biggie :) It didn't bend any valves.

???

You must be confusing me with one of your other mehanics. I asked gene and he said he never brought his car back and the timing belt has been fine ever since I did it. In fact I've done quite a bit of work for him on the side since then.

Please don't make false accusations like that again. If you want to trash talk work I did, we can talk about the jobs you never paid me for. This would be more entertaining than the cianci vs stealthify thread. ;)

Ok, although I'm sure of my facts. And yes, I agree, it would be interesting... and also petty.

Any more or less petty than what you're accusing me of now? Your facts obviously aren't reliable.

Agreed... Give it up guys, this isn't the point on the thread.

My R/T-T/T has just above 65,000km on it, for the most part it shows. But I just so happened to rescue it from a shithead 17 year old kid that pretty well romped it, I'm doing a decent job of buffing out his biffs though :D

It's all wrapped up behind my shop right now, otherwise I'd get some picture proof :p

Mine just rolled over 75k this weekend. It'll be close to 76 by the end of next week. I can't seem to stop driving it... its put a spell on me. I thought my car was pretty low mileage and in pretty good shape :(

It's in extraordinary shape! Don't be so hard on yourself :p I've seen some 3/S's that have litterally made me sick to my stomache knowing how much one or some of the owners have romped the piss out of them. These things should be respected and valued like the flagship cars they are...

We just went to a guy's estate where he has 8 3000GT's and Stealth's. None were mint and all but 2 were supper high milers (like 150k+... one with 221k miles). They were all twin turbos except for one. He said he just sold a vr4 that had 9k miles on it for $16k. He also still has a 1g stealth TT in black with 40k miles and a 94 vr4 with 70k miles. Those he wouldn't sell to me :(
