Ok, To start off I do already have a set off 360cc injectors and a safc. The problems is im going to have to run on a na ecu untill I can get my hands on a tt one. From what ive heard using the tt injectors will throw my timing off and just be really hard to tune. I was wondering is it possible or maybe even easier to run on the na injectors at waste gate boost. Any info is welcomed as im almost done with the car and dont want to screw something else up.

Thanks

Do you have a wideband just so you can track your actual AFR? I think they'll be fine as I was running a 100 shot of nitrous (dry) on NA injectors which is probably more power than a car on wastegate boost.

No I dont have a wideband, but my dad has one of those computers that reads all that I think.

That'll just read narrowband which isn't really useful. Get a wideband as you'll need it for tuning anyways.

Did you already modify the harness for low impedance injectors or did you use a TT harness?

Ive done non so far. Only wired up the safc. Ok im going to look up on a wideband.

In that case I would up the fuel pressure and run wastegate pressure, are you still using the stock FPR?

Yes, its still stock. So, how should I go by uping the fuel pressure?

You would need to purchase an aftermarket adjustable FPR. I bought a AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator with the adapator to our fuel rail. This can be purchased from 3SX or other vendors. This will allow you to regulate your fuel pressure, after that you will need the gauge and adapter to see how much you set your pressure at. You can purchase the adapter from 3SX or other vendors and I bought a Summit Racing Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge 0-100psi for 22 dollars shipped.

This would be the ideal way to raise your fuel pressure. However if your only doing it untill you get a TT ECU you could just plug your stock FPR right to vacume (bypassing the solenoid) and it will jump your fuel pressure up to 50ish PSI. This should give you some slack when using the NA injectors but I would still be careful.

Ah I did not know that, I am speaking from a vr4 point of view and that is what I did to up the pressure.

I personally would not risk running NA injectors, even on wastegate. You already have the SAFC and injectors so throw them in there and do what you can to tune it. There is just not enough room for error using 210 injectors with boost.

Yeah, I have been running that way for almost 4 months now. It only raised it like 8 Psi but I noticed it on my logs.

I agree, OP just make sure you modify the harness for low impedence injectors if your using the stock 360's. I would hope your already aware of this but just in case, I would still recommend just using a TT harness and resister pack.

Thank you guys for all your input. Ok so if I just go ahead and use the tt injectors , what will I have to look forward to as far as tuning. I've heard the timid.g gets all messed up or something with the na ecu.

Hell ya do it. Ill sell you turbos, intercoolers, piping, full exhaust, FPR, and injectors. :D :D I have a VR4 and Im going T70....sooo...

Is an a/f ratio gauge the same thing as an wideband? They are a hell of a lot cheaper.

No they are not. An A/F Gauge just reads your stock NARROWBAND o2. Its a lightshow and nothing more.

^I agree. Wideband is the only way to go. Especially if you plan on tuning. Even if your not going to tune, narrowbands are useless.
