I'll post pictures soon. I was just tired of my DR-650R setup and took the car apart. It's been sitting in the garage for a while with no engine/transmission for over a year. I'm finally getting around to moving on it again and plan to finish it by winter.

This is what it looked like before:
http://www.3sgto.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=306&d=1284252756

The following I have purchased/is going onto the car:
JE Pistons
Crower Rods
RPS lightweight flywheel
+1mm intake valves
+1mm exhaust valves
Borg Warner S366 turbo
ProEFI 128 EMS w/ FlexFuel Sensor
2x Tial F38 wastegates
Tial-Q BOV
Welden external fuel pump
Fuel Lab FPR
ID1000 injectors (need to buy)
Koyo aluminum radiator
Flex-Lite slimline fans
Spec Stage 4+ clutch (??? - need to decide)
Solid motor mounts
Megan Coilovers
ABS Delete

For cosmetics I have a full black 99 interior w/ Sparco Milano seats and plan to repaint the car while it's all apart. I'm also going to replace all of the bushings, hoses, weather stripping that I can. I also want to put in a new alternator, power steering pump, clutch master and slave cylinder to bring the car as close to new as I can.

Questions or comments are always welcome!

Thanks I also have a 96 spoiler as well. It was orchid pearl before I painted it.

I'll post some more pics of the car, but it's largely apart with the 99 interior parts on the roof. I have the suspension installed already. I ordered the S366 this past weekend. I have boxes of parts but I'll snap some of those as well. The engine is at the machine shop and I hope to have the block done soon.

I'm most excited about the ProEFI. I'm not sure of anyone with a 3S running one yet, but the Supra people have had fantastic success.

.91 A/R with 3" V-Band exit on the exhaust housing. 100% Certified Badass!

Hopefully my ProEFI 128 will show up soon. It's off to the machine shop for me this week with my block to get it ready to rock.

May I ask where you got it?

Also, that looks like a marmon flange 1/2 moon.

God I can't wait til you get it dynoed. I hear they make sickk torque!

Lastly, what are you going to do about headers? Make them yourself or buy them?

did jason finally make a plug/play harness for PROEFI on these cars?

let me know when you're ready to buy injectors, im a dealer for ID, i'd recommend FIC2150's tho if youre planning on running E85. 1000cc's will only get you to about 600whp on ethanol.

I forgot what the seller was on the turbo. You can find them on e-bay sometimes. For headers I'm using GTC Metalworks headers. I already had them coated with 2000 degree black thermal coating.

Apparently so, they don't stock them normally - they're building it for me.

As far as injectors go I was thinking of upping the fuel pressure on the ID1000s, but if you can get me a good deal on some 2150cc injectors I might jump on those as I wasn't too keen on ramping up fuel pressure, although I have read that some of the Supra people have run them around 100psi and they are stable at that. The ID2000's are about $1400 shipped for a set of those. The FIC 2150s appear to be around $1100 shipped for a set of 6. My power goal is around 700 AWHP on E85.

I'm also looking into meth/water injection for when I'm stuck running 93 pump gas. I'm hoping the ProEFI can also blend from 0 meth/water running E85 to full level of injection while running pump as it blends the two fuel maps together. It's one hell of a system and I'm excited to be running it in my car.

Did you test fit his setup first? I've messed with some of his exhaust work and all of it was crap.

the injectors themselves are fine at 100psi base pressure, but you need fuel pumps and regulator capable of running 130+psi and thats not very common...

The Welden external pump should do it and my FPR is supposed to go up to 125 psi, but matching a better injector is probably the ticket.

Gene

yeah, going up to those pressures isnt ideal by far.
you can bump the pressure up to 50-60psi base and the gains in atomization are great but i wouldnt go much past that.

Thatll be badass. The car looks awesome. Good to see another single turbo :D. Ive got a T70 that will be put in this winter.

Let me know if you find any places that sell "good" mating turbine outlet flanges. The s300 turbine housing requires a goofy flange and a standard v-band won't fit. The only ones I've found that fit are stamped crappy steel. I paid for a "billet stainless" one that was just stamped aluminized steel. If you want a steel one I have a couple extra, LOL :)

Nice turbo choice BTW. I have one of those as well as a few others ;)

This is where I found them. I still need to buy one. My block's now at the machine shop getting the bottom end fully balanced. I want to do stainless steel as well so I don't need crap steel - I don't want to half-ass anything on my car lol.

Do you have injectors yet? What EMS are you going to run?

Yeah I bought that one from them and it was a stamped piece of junk. I should call them and complain but its been low on my priority.

I bought a flange for my s366, and it mated perfectly.

I bought mine from racepartssolution. I paid 15-16 bucks for it.

Mine was stamped as well, but I wonder why boostaddict didn't like his? Was it a mating issue? Mine mated perfectly.

I don't like it because its not stainless even though it was advertised as so. The stamping wasn't up to my quality standards, and I like nice beefy machined flanges not flimsy thin gauge steel.

I'm guessing your setup should look something like this when you're done. I'm using similar headers, I believe, but I had to do alot of fab/re-engineering to make them work with everything else. I did all the downpipe/wastegate and intake fab work myself though. Your power goals are similar to mine, but I'm using a gt42 with a homemade spool valve built into the crossover pipe. My car's slated to get tuned later this week so I can probably give you some feedback on how the injectors will work out.

Hmmm, how long ago did you buy it? I bought mine about a month ago.

Maybe mine is different than yours. I'm pretty particular on what a good quality part is, and it might be that I am satisfied because they used somethine else.

I'm going to St. Thomas this coming week and should have my block back from the machine shop assembled and ready to go. The heads are getting fitted for the over-sized valves and I'm getting the heads, lower intake, and this port matched:
