I need to break the camera out and start snapping shots again. I think it would be cool if I could get permission to take one of the shop trucks out and do a photo shoot of it. I'd have to talk to the boss man, but he's in Germany.

I'm gonna ask my gf if its ok if I post a picture she took of her daughter.

Nope, it's Moab. But I could see might have thought that. I need to get back to the Garden of the Gods and get some pictures now that you mention it.

Yeah, tell me about it. I have way too many since getting this camera just sitting around. The first three the processing made all the difference. I'm REALLY happy with the last one, that is exactly as shot, no processing. Now if I could do that every time. ;)

I am by far no great photgrapher. This first shot is a random one I took at Kooser State Park near Somerset, PA a few years back. I was still learning my camera so it is less than ideal, but the scenery was good. There is no processing on it because this was before I knew about shooting in RAW and how to process.

These next two pics I didn't take. My girlfriend took them and I just wanted to share. Neither shot was planned or set up. They were just candid shots and each shot has minimal processing.

Again, no processing. I didn't know any better. Plus the car had rubber up the side since it was running at the track at SEDD08. At least I beleive it was 08.

lol is that an SL63? thats actually not bad. a tighter crop and it would have been perfect! :D

Yeah its a SL63. I loled when I saw your picture because it triggered my memory. Lo and behold I go to my photobucket and there it is.

It was soooo bright out that day that it was washing pictures out badly. I really want to get a newer camera that has more support as well as higher resolution but cant afford one at this time. Mine does ok, and is a good learner camera in my opinion. I just need to stop being so lazy and take more pics. I wish I would have known the camera better that day because there were some cool cars there.

thats one of the reasons I try not to shoot cars during the day, especially bright cars. you cant control the lighting sometimes, especially if you just plan to shoot casual.

i try to just go shutter priority when its too bright and I cant get a good shot off. typically bright cars come out ok anyway. :)

cool shot though! funny that i remembered my shot as soon as I saw yours!
