Bit of info in regards to the 1st Vid

Our best V8 supercar driver, dominated the series for years (Ford driver) is now a rising figure in your NASCAR series... Mr Marcus Ambrose (car 47).
Marcus is undefeated at Watkins Glen 3years running now in the Nationwide series...he still needs work on the ovals but has a ride with Richard Petty Motorsport next yearin the Sprint Cup series...go the crazy Aussies :)

You should watch our main race 'Bathurst' 1000kms of absolute mayhem on the best track in the world :)

Yea the year before a dude went off at the same spot but didn't roll....just kept going into the bridge just after the chase and died i think...was either him or someone else ontop of the mountain in the fujitsu series can't remember, but it's a crazy track.

The V8 Supercars series is awesome, but it killed the glorious racing of the '90s that made the GT-R so famous :(

Anyone else here watch some of the racing on VS or Speed (when they're not showing nascar, lulz)? Lots of great little battles, nothing incredibly epic though, lol.

Ahh good old 90's Group A racing...nothing better imo.
GTR's, Ford Seirras (OMG love these), and the 20b twin turbo series6 rx-7 sent from Japan for the 12 hour in '96 was the bomb.....actually got a hotlap dash around bathurst in that car in '96 with Brabham behind the wheel :)

Anyway talks for 2012/2013 are a possible change to NASCAR spaceframes and running gear as it's already established ect....

And back to other makers too.....Kia and Hyundi have been mentioned lol

Yea i agree with you, in parts the current setup actually is sorta copied anyway, Aus designed frame but the wats link and other bits are already being used.

lol yea the Falcon Xr6 and Xr8's would both sell awsome in the US, they made the Commodore into a Pontiac but Ford never followed GM to the US of A......kinda makes you think that they should have done it cause now Ford are pulling out of the RWD sedan market due to sales.

Xr6 turbo is quicker than the V8. It's become the Police Case car of Choice over here.

Well the engine block is an LS3 chevy IIRC. The rest has been custom built by the race team.

Was watching an old recording on my PVR yesterday of last years Goodwood speed festival in England
There were litterally 10+ F1 cars running from years 70s-00s. The old Hillclimb run for fun....most of these F1s were actually tricked up for line locks and drifting...no shit. Absolutly amazing watrching the $$$$$$ on edge drifting lol
