Morning all,

Looking at putting a fmic onto the gto as its first mod mainly because one of the sidemonunts is a bit damaged. Anyway just seeing what other Aussies have used? I'm looking at the kits on eBay that look like the cxracing kits anyone bought one of these?

Cheers Paul

Dual core FMIC (oohnoo) with DN hard pipe, yet to install them so can't comment...

Just remember a FMIC will effect airflow to your radiator. Read throught the forums and you will see. Lot's of ppl had issues. Some have resorted to removing the crash bar to increase airflow. I will be going for bigger SMIC. Either making them, Genes perf ones or ARC.

Bar and plate intercoolers will direct air around the intercooler, but will provide better air cooling. Tube and fin intercoolers will be better at directing air through the intercooler and to the radiator, but a larger core is required to have the same effect as the bar and plate.

My car has never overheated and I have had a FMIC for almost 7 years.
