Not realistically in the market right now, but fun to dream, right?

Here are my criteria for my next daily:

Decent power (turbo or V8)
RWD or AWD (I hate FWD but also need to drive through significant snow)
Manual transmission
Wagon/decent cargo space
Fit two car seats

Any suggestions?

The Chevy SS and CTS-V seem pretty legit but not sure how the RWD will do in the snow. If they still made the CTS-V wagon, this would be a done deal (see this video:

STI seems like a good contender but kind of boring and obvious.

Not sure how I feel about the Focus RS.

I don't know much about Volvo/never hear about them, but they seem to have some options in this market.

I love the Volvo wagons! Pricey though, and not sure I'd want to own one long term with all of the foibles they have.

I owned an RS... It's a functional family car and absurdly fun. Great in snow too! Rides like crap though.

Doesn't meet your power requirements but I've heard good things about the new Regal GS (V6 AWD, no manual).

If money isn't a problem, ATS-V is a fun drive (Manual RWD V6 TT)

I know a few people with the SS and they love them so far.

I'm always meh about BMWs but everyone else seems to love them. I'd love an X6M, though.
