TLDR version: I gave my relatives 2 years to come get my stuff. They haven't. So I'll post it here and someone can take it to a good home. I even asked Paul if he was interested, and I never got a response. Evan--the guy who did the AWD conversion--would be the guy I'd most love to see this go to but I have no idea how to reach him anymore.

My 1995 3KGT and all the goodies that I never got installed. Needs to go. Yes, it's one of the only AWD ATX TT in the USA. Yes it has unique cosmetic mods like a Stealth RT garnish with reverse lights. Yes it was supposed to get a stroker and stage 3 heads. Yes, I had ~$20,000 in reciepts that I dropped in 1 year alone.

I'm not going to part it out. I don't need the emotional baggage of having to see it disappear bit by bit. I also don't want to invest my time in it. Would I love to see someone else build it the way I'd intended it? Sure. Is that ever likely to happen? No. So at this point I'm going to settle for "don't take any of the stuff to the crusher".

Car does run (last driven 2 years ago), but has an issue with the transmission selector that makes it tricky to get into gear. It also wants to kill out if you don't keep giving it a little gas at stops. It's still running a stock VR4 engine at present; the parts for the built engine are pretty much all there--but it was never assembled beyond shortblock. So expect that you'll probably need a car carrier and plenty of space to haul the remainder of the goodies (i.e. more than a pickup-truck bed).

I won't be at home for another couple months, so this gives anyone who wants to coordinate a pick-up some lead time to arrange logistics.

No, I can't spell out for you everything I have. There's a lot--even if it was all intended for only 1 car. No, I won't split it. If you come to pick it up, you take all of it. 100%. And you have to use it or sell it. No taking it to the crusher.

That's it. No other strings attached. Just want it gone.

I so wish I had the resources to finish this Carlos, I would do "great things" with it. even keep the purple accent theme you wanted.

I have a trailer and could fetch it, just lack the proper space to work on it. If you are giving this a way to the right member send me a PM.

Apologies, apparently had to clean out my inbox. When my membership lapsed, the limit was reduced, and I never bothered to delete anything. Years upon years of business correspondence about trying to get things done to this car.

Anyways, if you need to PM me, you should be able to now.

Yes, I am giving this all away. No strings attached--you just can't scrap it.

That said, if there's more than 1 party interested, I humbly request the right to pick whose hands this ends up in.

If I weren't otherwise occupied/directed, I'd be there tomorrow, Carlos.

PM's replied. I won't be home till June, and I'm not going to dump this on my poor wife to divine what goes and what stays--on her own.

What state is this in? I can't remember since it has been so long. I don't get on here too often. I don't need another project but do have some 3S locals wanting to do a few builds. I'm pretty sure you are 15-20 hours away from me though.

Wow. Two years and your relatives wouldn't take it for free???

If you're giving it away, might I suggest sending a message to Chris and Vicki? They're close to GA and probably have the space for this. I just don't know if Chris' health is good enough to take on a project or part it out.

what part of georgia? I'm in Charleston, SC - and have means to store it / get it completed.

Not that IPD can't change his mind, we have been having extensive PM's back and forth in regards to picking project up. He told me that he would really like to give this to a "Veteran". But gain IPD is free to change his mind.

Great. I just didn't want to see it go to waste :)

I'm a noob to the 3/S scene, but have been heavily involved in local car clubs around Western NC, and now Coastal SC for 16 years - so I understand precedence :)

Steve is lined up for this at the moment. If that changes, I will let everyone know. Thanks again for the interest.

Racer, the time to get Chris involved was years ago--not now. And that's a woulda-coulda-shoulda. I can't change the past now.

It was nice to meet Steve and his dad Scott. 3/s stuff is on its way to Michigan.

Steve, I didn't see an R/T tail-light conversion anywhere. I honestly don't remember where in the process that transaction was, so I'd start by PM'ing ilian51378. Last PM I have was about wanting pics of a mock-up, from back in July of 2015. I don't recall anything else.

Enjoy! I hope it brings you the happiness I never found with it. I know it's in good hands, and that's all I can ask for.

p.s.
It appears that I shipped him R/T tails to be converted. He had ordered the LEDs for the project, and had sent me his paypal info--indicating he wasn't going to proceed with buying the LEDs until I was committed. My paypal doesn't have records back to 2015, so I'm still hunting.

Best case, this somehow wound up shipped, and it didn't make it from Milt's to my garage. Worst case, ilian got the tails, got my money, and I got no part. I'll post up here if I can scounge up more data.

**update**

I checked my credit-card statements. I have a transaction of $320 paid to ilian on 9 July 2015. This matches the date of a PM I have with him telling me the amount due is $320.

I have email from him after the last PM's I have on here, they include vid of the tails running, dated 21 Sep 2015. I have another email from ilian on 23 Sep 2015 with shipping info for these lights.

So unless I missed it in the pile of car parts, I'd say that Milt has these somewhere.

"Hi,

I just shipped your tails! You may be able to check where they are through the USPS tracking website, with the following tracking number: CC001135809KY. The delivery time is 2-4 weeks, but it usually gets there in a week or two. The tracking number for the resistors is DHL 9374869903500565851711. Do not cut any of the car's stock wiring. Use the wire connectors that I sent you and the ones that come with the resistors. Enjoy your one of a kind L.E.D. tails! :)

Also, I wasn't able to do any swapping of barrels on the 2 piece GT-C with the 2-piece of the C-Ultras; so I never did any test-fit verification before I sold the GT-C's to NomiezVR4.

Steve, as you can tell, it's a clusterfuck.

I know what you said casually about finishing it, but I don't think that's in your best interest. What I would recommend is getting some stock seats and swapping the destroyed ones out for decent used ones; swapping the interior quarter trims back to stock; and getting it idling smooth. Then I'd MAACO a cheap (probably black) paint on it and call it a day. Flip it for 3 grand and maybe made a small profit. Nobody but NOBODY wants an AWD ATX; and the only reason I wouldn't take it to the crusher is because it's one of the few in the USA that are like that.

Use whatever parts/pieces you want on your stealth. Probably trash/give-away/flip the rest. Nobody wants purple. Nobody wants 3-spoke wheels. Nobody would ever build a car the way I would have built it. That's part of the reason I was going to build it that way. I have terrible ideas that never come to fruition, and I learned an incredibly costly lesson about it. Don't make my problems yours.

j2k4

We all have terrible ideas, and though most of them involve women, many have to do with cars.

Purple isn't as bad as some people think.

There's more, much more, but you've been drinking, and I'm tired, so - to be continued...
