I went with a self contained thin powered 8" memphis subwoofer. It obviously won't hit super hard but it might work better than something in the trunk with the roof down. Another plus is that all the wiring and controls are on one side, making the install cleaner/easier.

15-SA108SP - Memphis 8" 150 watt rms 300 peak.

It allows the seat to move almost all the way back. Someone could still use the seat, a bit less comfortable but it works.

Ignore the floor that needs to be vacuumed :)

I used some threaded rivets to attach it. Of course, where I wanted to mount it was in the valleys not the raised sections...Didn't realize it was like that until after I drilled the pilot holes and removed the carpet. Some spacers fixed it though.

Brackets bolted to the bottom plate. It can be removed to make this easier.

Floor needs vacuumed. :D

Toni, what all did you Dynamat?

I've entertained the idea of a cover-all effort, but haven't followed-through because my current garage isn't space-friendly.

That may change, soon, so...

The car came matted. I believe it's on the entire floor and doors.

Thanks - think that would be the only effective thing to do. :)

You could make use of the limited space behind the back seats. They fold down, and that space is useless anyways. I would LOVE to have a spyder to put a SQ sound system in it.

Still looking to do the relocation of my subs directly displacing the stock rear seats, making the car a two-seater and flattening the rear deck all the way from the hatch to the backs of the front seats.

Subs would face forward into the rear footwell area.
