Back when I started riding there was a ladder series to Moto gp, probably still is. 50cc, 125cc, 250cc, 500cc, then the big boys with the 1000cc 2 strokes which don't exist anymore. I did get a chance to ride an Aprilia 50cc sportbike, made me wonder how fun it would be if the USA allowed the 125 and 250s to be sold in the US.
