So Garden City Group represented people who were involved in the WellsFargo inspection fee class action lawsuit. I was charged 10 times for $150. Finally got the check and it was a whopping $16. I've been trying to see what the breakdown is as I am trying to see if a person who was charged once got the same amount as me. They keep telling me Class Member’s pro-rata share of the Net Settlement Fund shall be determined based upon each Class Member’s “Recognized Claim.” That doesn't tell me a whole lot and now they're saying they are just a third party and that they were just provided recognized loss information. Is this from WellsFargo?
I am not a lawyer, but am I wrong in thinking I should have information in a lawsuit I'm involved in? I can see now that class action lawsuits are a huge waste of time for the people that were wronged and nothing but profit for the firms.
