MLS season can't get here soon enough. I can't stand the anglophiles and general political opinions that people tend to bring to matches in the US but it's a blast. I mist admit having a neighbor being one of the stars of the team/league does add something to it.

Bahstan fans are the second worst. Philly has them beaten by a country mile. we just have less exposure to them since i't been so long since they've made it to the SB.

I had friends - since deceased - who told stories about the old Warriors/76ers teams playing the Celtics at the Garden and the Spectrum.

This was during the Russell-Chamberlain/Bird-Erving years...they said they could count on seeing bloody fights in the stands every time - they NEVER took their teen-aged kids.

I've watched every SuperBowl since 1972, I won't be watching this year.
Two teams I can't stand, kneeling for the anthem and the NFL refusing to allow veterans to run a pro-flag commercial is all too much for me.
I'll watch the commercials on YouTube the day after, it's about the only thing worth seeing during a Superbowl anyway. Even that has gone downhill recently.

I don't mind the Eagles, but I knew the entire time the announcers would have Brady's dick in their mouths taking turns shining it up and I wasn't going to subject myself to it. I think if the Jags would have beaten NE I would have watched. I'm rooting for Philly, but you know that something will happen so that NE will win in some stunning fashion.
